Last night my roommate and I were trying to find someplace open to eat after having worked 14 hours each on Christmas day. We have not been living in Orlando long and all of our family is in other states so we opted to grab so.e drive through and get home to sleep before having to be up at 4:30 am for work today.
As there wasn't much open being Christmas and all, we stopped at the checkers at Colonial and the John Young. There were 5 cars in front of us one of which bailed before even getting to order.
When we got to the intercom to place the order, we were asked several times to wait then place the order then wait then place the order as the woman taking orders seemed a bit overwhelmed and definitely distracted. Once we started trying to place the order, the woman says wait no bacon today sorry. Ok.....
I only order one meal from your establishment and that I have to add bacon too because you no longer have the bacon cheese champ on your menu. I order a spicy chicken sandwich meal and my roommate orders the chicken bites and fries. She never asked us what size meals we wanted just gave us a total. When we pulled up to the window, the attendant took our payment and ignored the fact that a homeless person walked up and squeezed in between the building and our open car window to petition us for a free meal and then sat waiting for us to deliver food to him.
We were not able to add anything to our order for him, being Christmas and all we didn't want to leave him hungry. Instead We gave him a visa gift card We had received for Christmas so that he could eat. He opted to go to the gas station instead of ordering there.
We received our "food" though calling it that is really not accurate. We had already started heading home before I realized we had not been given any straws. I asked my roommate if he wanted his fries as neither of us had eaten in the 12 hours prior to this point. When I pulled out the "fries", there were two different size containers. I handed him the bigger one which was a huge mistake as it was mostly funnel cake with some cold limp fries in it. We did not order funnel cake.
The atrocities continued as all of our food was cold. The McChicken sandwich for a dollar tastes better then what was served as the spicy chicken sandwich. And I don't know what happened to the "chicken bites" but they were like spongy plastic and I doubt had any chicken in them. Not to mention, we were offered no dipping sauce at any point, not that it mattered.
Needless to say, we really didn't eat much. When we got home, my roommate took a sip of his soda and promptly had to vomit what little he had eaten. He was subsequently not able to eat anything else before having to go to bed.
I attempted to place a review immediately but their website was also malfunctioning and would not allow me to access the function of placing a comment. I understand that they were busy and probably ill equipped for it but there is no excuse for serving product that was quite obviously outside of the safe time frame for serving. And how does it even get that old when you are that busy?
They are very lucky the health department doesn't work Christmas day but if they ever inspect that location, I am sure it will be shut down. I am sure we will not be visiting any of their locations again. I would give negative stars or none if that was an option.

Read moreOne of the employees acted very rude and acted like we were bothering her just by being there. No smile, no greeting, no professionalism at all, and when my husband grabbed the bag from her like any body would, she very rudely stated "dont snatch the bag from me". Which if he did snatch the bag, the proper way to handle that situation would be to very lightly and professionally say, oh be careful I dont want the bag to rip and spill your food" because when we asked her why she was so rude she said he snatched the bag and it almost ripped, which wasn't even the case. It seemed more like she was having a bad day that lead up to giving poor customer service. Which I understand completely, I've worked food service for several years, but never was it okay to treat a paying customer the way she did. Anybody will look at that and not think of the person In the checkers shirt, they're going to think that this is what checkers accepts and this is the quality of service thats accepted. Not to mention I had my 3 young children in the back who witnessed their father get talked down to and humiliated in front of them. When we asked for her name, she said idk i dont have one, the manager said her name was queen. She didn't try to resolve the issue she didn't try to calm us down or deescelate the situation what so ever, she sat back like the employee was her friend and she didn't want to make her friend look bad or not take her friends side. And to top it off, when I got home I was missing a fish sandwich and a small fry, the fries were fresh and hot but the burger buns had a weird smell to them like they weren't fresh and a weird after taste that made us not want to eat it. We went to stop to get a bite to eat after running errands all day, and expected a nice meal and something easy and tasteful, but left feeling angry disappointed and still hungry. Read moreTerrible customer service, I don’t know if I will ever return again. i’m not the type of person to leave reviews or complain because I’ve worked in customer service. I understand how it is and I’m generally a very nice person, but this situation rubbed me so wrong i’m still thinking about it days later. I placed a mobile order, I sat at the speaker for 15 minutes and got no response even after saying “hello” when I could literally hear her breathing through the mic. Eventually I pulled up to the other speaker and the AI told me to pull forward. The second I pulled up to the window she was standing there with my bag and handed it to me with a nasty look on her face and never said a word. When I called and left a complaint the “manager” aka the same person that gave me bad customer service called to very rudely tell me I was wrong. That I was not there for 15 mins (maybe it was 14 and a half forgive me) and that they don’t have to say anything on the speaker (I had literally got a mobile order there days before and they talked to me on the speaker) I just hung up on her because I wasn’t going to be spoken too so rudely I would rather just never give you my business again. I can understand if I misunderstood the pick up procedure and was supposed to just pull up, but then they should have just explained that to me when I could literally hear her breathing on the other end. I know she hears me saying hello. I know my order is ready because she instantly handed it to me, but she just has such a terrible attitude that it made the whole situation something it didn’t need to be, very disappointing.
