I went there for the first time in like 1971 I'm 59 years old I was 9 or 10 years old my mom and my step dad my little brother and I went and the sub was so big I made like four meals out of it years after that I went there on a regular basis with my family and with my friends it cost 25 cents for an extra bun another $0.25 for extra cheese you asked them when they filled the bun put cheese on it and then it was stack a whole another sub of meat on top of it and give you a fort for 25 cents more you could get an extra bun you take that bun and stick it on top and break it off with the extra cheese and you got two foot long subs they're like 4 in around every one of my friends my family and the acquaintances everything we went on a regular basis that's the baddest place there was back then their subs got a little bit smaller you can't make two out of it but it is the biggest and the best steak sub there is I'm talking subways any album Firehouse Jimmy John's they can't touch Chico's subs you're the baddest Chico you...

The store has a variety of delicious hot and cold subs, but this is my favorite. Friends and co workers have NEVER had a bad sandwich here. When the store changed owners some years later, the quality and the flavor remained the same...Fantastic! I moved out west in 2006 not seeing Chico's again until Sept, 2017 and again in Mar, 2018 and guess what? The Cheese steak Still Tasted The Same as I remembered. This family really knows how to keep generations of customers, by giving them what they crave.You can get a cheese steak anywhere, but certainly NOT a Chico's Cheese steak. it is unique to this sub shop, and not what one would call "Traditional", but it's Grrreat! Read moreMy wife and I love subs. But not just any subs. Like flat top subs with chopped meat. Amazing place to grab a bite. It's my type of sub. The owner was incredibly helpful and made us feel like we were regulars. Incredible experience! Trying to get back there but they close early. The meat itself was chopped beautifully. We always get extra meat any where we go but when I asked for extra meat he said "have you ever been here before?" That is the right response and thank god I didn't cause there is no more room for extra meat. They even gave us a spoon. Don't throw it away. lol. Trust me. You will need it. They also make their own in house fruit punch. That was awesome. You need ice with it. Also a huge tip, do not get extra salt. Not necessary. We did but next time we will do without it. We ate every bit of that sub. If I could say one thing, they need a cheese sauce to put and it would take this to the top of my book!
