Fonda El Criollito Restaurant — Restaurant in Orlando

I have been here before and it used to be good. Unfortunately I can't say the same thing anymore, we went today to get dinner as a family and Unfortunately the owner was not a very nice person and clearly didn't care about his quality of food and costumer service at all. We order some alcapurias and thats how they were he didn't care about and said he would not do a new one or give the money back( picture is as shown) I ordered a mofongo with pollo al ajillo and my food clearly wasn't what I paid for either, it had no ajillo sauce at all it was just a plain grilled chicken simple. When we ask for the ajillo sauce he said it was the green sauce in the plate that was clearly chimichurri sauce. It's safe to say we will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone else ever again. If the owner didn't feel like working today he should have just closed the restaurant. That's not the attitude you take when there is paying costumers and the worst thing is that you have to pay upfront before getting your food and if ater everything is messed up you won't be getting...

I went there yesterday for the first time and I saw them wearing black gloves and I was like great they don't touch my food barehanded after I saw them touching everything else and putting and touching the food without changing their gloves, I mean opening fridge doors, touching the food moving a ladder they have for some reason right in the middle where the food is and again touching the food the girl grabbed a few times some napkins to wipe her gloves instead of CHANGING THEM!!!!.. But what got me the most os that there was a German roach in the window where the food is and I told the girl that was touching everything around without changing her gloves and touching the food and she went ahead and try to kill the roach with her own hand wearing the same glove all the time and tells me oh the roach is in the outside of the glass and kept making some tostones for some guy who was waiting for his food too.. I am never coming back to this place is just gross and I wonder how they are...

Bare minimum establishment, No customer service. 😒 Walked in one night a women at the counter had just finished serving a large group and my brother his wife and my wife and I walked in instead of being polite she talked on the cell phone loud and obnoxiously while telling us in broken English that they're closed in spite us walking in a 30 minutes before closing and it's a rather small place almost like a very poorly taken care of puerto rican version of subway except with 1/5th the visual appeal. We asked to place an order, she ignored us and walked into the back and decided our time wasn't valuable enough and addressed us after standing there awkwardly for 5 minutes. We ended up just buying a coke and leaving because she refused service.
