We visited Universal on Saturday 4/20/19. We got there about lunch time in hopes of seeing the raptor - Blue. We decided to get drinks while we walk around. Hog’s Head was the closest, so we decided there was as good as any other place. We waited in line and finally got to the cashier or order. We had the misfortune of dealing with an employee named Zach who decided it was a good time to interrogate us as to why were at the park and what rides we were riding. We were there for the raptor. I, to this day, don’t know what the rides are named. Zach determined our answers weren’t good enough and refused service. Zach literally refused to serve us because we didn’t know what the rides were named. Who is Zach to even ask these questions? Why does it matter why I’m at Universal? How is that any of your business? Interrogating people as they are trying to order is completely inappropriate. Totally ruined our day and left after that, didn’t even see Blue. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever had in any restaurant. Beware of an employee named Zach and stay away...
Read moreThis is a great relaxing and serving restairant. I went for apple pie and ice cream. The pie it was frozen and put it in the oven i am guessing but it took to long for their standards. For about 20 minutes. So the nice lady offer me a butterbeer wich i decline. So another 10 mins she offer me a refund and i told her some fries instead. She gave me 2 litte dishes of fies, extra ice cream, chocolate ice cream that is. A strawberry somerhing with yogurt topped with little pieces of chocolate at no cost. When i was leaving they have her the apple pie. The pie was delicios and hot at the top, but in the middle was coldish. But still very delicious. The lady treated me very polite and was very sorry that they took so long. When she at the beggining asked to the kitchen hows the pie going 1 cooker, i am guessing answer annoyingly to her and another not very pleased with her asking about my pie. Felt bad about that. But in all great service great foood with taste and a very...
Read moreThey have a great selection of drinks for pretty okay prices, as far as theme parks go.
The problem with my most recent visit was that my husband and I weren’t allowed to sit at the tables because they were “reserved for diners,” and we only bought drinks. I sat at the only empty table without a “reserved,” placard, only to be told by an employee (while she was wiping off the table and putting a “reserved” placard down), that I was “fine,” but “if any diners need the table” we’d have to move. She told us we could sit outside, which was covered. Rather than wait to inevitably be kicked out, we went outside to the covered area and got rained on.
It was really disappointing. There’s no indication that inside tables are for diners only, and we still spent about $20 here. I think we should have been left alone since we were already...
