ICENY and COFFEE Baldwin Park — Restaurant in Orlando

My Husband, Son, and I visited on 5/28/23 Sunday afternoon. We are local residents and have visited this location many times but this visit was unfortunately VERY different and Awkward. I have never EVER felt so disrespected as a Patron of any Business. We walk in their were 2 employees. One (1) young Caucasian Female, and One (1) young Caucasian Male. I have never played the Race Card in my life but it was very apparent that for whatever reason these two Kids did NOT was to serve us. (BiRacial Couple with a Biracial Child) The young girl was rolling ice cream for a little kid ahead of us. As she finished, she started to clean up and walked in the back. She said NOTHING to us. The whole time the young male was acting as if he was cleaning up and said NOTHING to us. He also ends up walking to the back. That’s when we realized the obvious. They both did it on purpose. My Husband was going to say something but I told him not to. Let’s just stand here and see how long they will leave us standing here. From the time we walked in to the time they both finally came back out was approximately 7mins. The guy came out the back laughing with a smirk on his face finally asking how can he help us. The girl still did not speak as she started rolling the ice cream. At this point, we just should of left but my Child wanted the Ice Cream. After we paid and got the ice cream. I asked the young boy the Managers name. He stated that “he did not know.” I did tell him that both his and her actions or should I say lack of were very rude and disrespectful. As he still had the stupid smirk on his face as if it was funny. I know I will never visit this place EVER again. I know it’s very difficult to find good help now of days. Speaking also as Successful Company Owner but Staff like this will run your Business...

It’s always fun to get Thai-style rolled ice cream! ICENY has a great selection of desserts, and it’s fun watching them make your ice cream! They have a super cold plate where they pour a liquid version of your ice cream, it instantly freezes, and they use tools to flatten it out and then roll it sort of like a crepe. Other reviews explain it well - it’s like an ice cream crepe with the same visual experience of a Cold Stone Creamery. With everything from tiramisu to strawberry shortcake to Thai tea to Vietnamese coffee ice creams, with tons of different mix-ins and toppings to choose between, there is pretty much an infinite number of combinations you can have here! Sometimes they have seasonal flavors, like most recently their rolled ice cream sandwiches with two cookies on either side - really good!! They have different coffees available as well. There is just a ton of stuff here! I am not giving a full 5 stars because I don’t necessarily think the ice cream is the best tasting, but I do give credit for a massive variety (and certain toppings like the cheesecake are awesome). I recently had my first experience visiting ICENY and Coffee in the exclusive area of Baldwin Park, and I must say—it was absolutely fantastic! This hidden gem has now expanded its menu to include delicious breakfast options, and we had the opportunity to enjoy a delightful morning in a welcoming and cozy atmosphere.

Our breakfast was a perfect combination of fresh eggs, toast, fruit, and of course, high-quality coffee, making it an ideal spot to start the day. But what truly made this visit extraordinary was the live preparation of nitrogen-rolled ice cream! Watching the process up close was mesmerizing, and the flavors were simply exquisite—creamy, rich, and absolutely worth trying.
