Jeremiah's Italian Ice, a charming spot in Central Florida, offers a delightful escape from the usual ice cream scene. During my recent visit, I ventured to try their Mango and Vanilla Italian ice – a decision that did not disappoint. The Mango flavor was a tropical delight, bursting with a fresh, authentic taste that seemed to transport me to a sun-soaked beach. The texture was perfectly smooth, without any ice crystals, allowing the flavors to shine through unencumbered.
In contrast, the Vanilla was subtle yet sophisticated, providing a creamy counterpoint to the zesty mango. It was like tasting two sides of summer - one vibrant and lively, the other soothing and classic. The blend of these two flavors created a harmonious balance that was both refreshing and indulgent.
The ambiance of Jeremiah's is casual and welcoming, making it a great spot for families or a quick stop for dessert enthusiasts. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
However, there's room for improvement in terms of variety and innovation. While the classics are done exceptionally well, the addition of more unique or seasonal flavors could elevate the experience further.
Overall, Jeremiah's Italian Ice serves up a reliably delicious treat, especially for those hot Florida days. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking a high-quality, traditional Italian ice with a homey, local feel. Four stars for a delightful experience that leaves you wanting just a...
Read moreWe have been to multiple Jeremiah locations, even this particular one several times. But, tonight was different. We ordered three quarts, no lids. Usually it arrives looking like any size cup might be look. Tonight lids were added and the quarts were no where close to full. After questioning, staff said that is how they serve it. We told them that we have never gotten a semi-full quart, at this location, or any other. Staff was not pleasant about it, but did give a little 4 oz cup of ice cream. AFTER adding this to the quart container, it was still short at least 8oz. of being a quart. I know times are tough, but don't call something a quart if you are going to give less than a pint and a half. We could have put the third "quart" we purchased in with the first two, and had two quarts with LESS THAN a true quart is usually served when no lid is requested. The lid would have gone on our quart containers, with room to spare, had they added another 12oz. ...
Read moreI came to the downtown store to have what so many rave about, and got the rudest person. While we walked up to the window, where there was no one in line, the employee who was at the window was looking at another girl who was talking in sign language to her friend. The employee signals us to wait, and waves to the girl, who we thought was probably asking the other in sign language what she wanted. Then she approaches the window, says hi to the employee, so by now we have just figured they're friends, so know we are to wait while they visit, and she is giving her samples to try. In the meantime we are still standing there, she didn't even acknowledge us again, and totally ignored us, and continued to visit and chit chat with her friend. All other employees were attending other guests as the line was longer on their side. We ended up walking away! I'll never return to this...
