The food at Palm Beach Meats is amazing and the owner Megan is super sweet. However, the staff could use some lessons in communication and customer service.

I’ll preface this review by stating that if you’re reading it you SHOULD try Palm Beach Meats out if you’re in the area. You’ll probably have a fine experience and the atmosphere and food are great. It’s a family friendly place too, which is nice to see!

My fiancée and I have been here a total of four times as of this review. The first three were fine and uneventful. However, the last couple interactions with staff have not been great.

On one occasion I called and asked what the day’s special was because we wanted to go there for dinner and I liked the special I had there the week before. The young lady who answered the phone was busy, I’m sure, but she was rude and said “everything here is special!”

As someone who works a stressful public-facing customer service job I get that everyone has their bad days so I kinda brushed it off and we went somewhere else. I didn’t mention or complain about this at the time because I didn’t want to get anyone in trouble. In fact, I still don’t and think it could be solved with some training.

The next time we went we paid via the app inKind and the food was really good. I highly recommend their Steak Frites (Wednesday night special), because it’s the best I’ve ever had in Orlando.

Anyway, as we were leaving the servers didn’t remember we had paid beforehand with the app so they asked if we paid and I told them “Yes, we paid with inKind” and they seemed to accept that before we walked out the door. Well, we got in our car and as we were backing out they chased us into the parking lot making it seem like we were some dine and dashers or something. That’s when the woman server who actually rung us up saw us and said “they paid with inKind!” to her coworker.

I even offered to show the man my receipt on my phone.

It was just embarrassing and the first time that’s ever happened to my fiancée and I at any restaurant.

Just a tip of advice: if it’s difficult to remember if someone paid via an app find some alternative method (like maybe printing out an extra receipt or something) for extra confirmation.

Mistakes happen, I get that. But it’s how they’re handled that matter. Being more discreet would’ve been appreciated rather than the spectacle that ensued.

We personally won’t be going back. We really like their food, so it’s a shame.

I’ll end this review by saying I sincerely wish them the best because our local businesses need...

I came here after seeing a post about their own “Magical Dining” special — and it was so good, I went back a second time!

First off, the decor is super inviting — clean, cozy, and stylish without being over the top. You immediately get the vibe that you’re in for something special.

A quick note: nearly everything on the menu is made with or features Wagyu beef in some way. Even better — they also sell different meats and beverages (including some unique Wagyu options) if you want to recreate the experience at home. Thought that was a nice touch.

I didn’t realize they had beer and wine until we arrived. Our group had planned to do happy hour before, but — if you’ve dealt with Orlando traffic on a Friday at 5 PM, you know how that goes. Their drink selection was solid, and the staff gave us great beer recommendations.

Appetizers: First visit, I had the lumpia. Second time, the empanada. The lumpia was super fresh and ended up being my favorite of the two — though I do wish it came with a sweeter dipping sauce to balance the saltiness. The sauce it came with was a bit too tangy for my taste.

Entrees: I got to try both the cheesesteak (first visit) and the burger (second visit), and both were excellent. We added the double meat option for just $6 each time — I couldn’t believe they were offering extra Wagyu for that price.

The cheesesteak was surprisingly good — I wasn’t sure how Swiss cheese would work here, but it totally did. Portions were generous, too — enough for leftovers.

The burger was my favorite item overall. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I asked. It’s stacked high, so don’t expect to eat it neatly — but it’s worth every messy bite. I even shared half with a friend who ordered the cheesesteak, and they were shocked by how good it was.

Dessert: Even after all that food, we made room for dessert — and wow. Imagine a cold peach cobbler and a churro having a baby. The flavors were amazing, and the ice cream on top pulled it all together. I’m not a dessert person, and this still ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal.

I honestly don’t understand why this place doesn’t have a line out the door. The food is top-tier, the service is excellent, and the vibe is just right. Definitely recommend checking it out — and take a peek at the menu photos I posted to see...

Halal meat lovers — this is a must-visit!

Palm Beach Meats Orlando blew us away with their delicious halal Wagyu options. The Wagyu burger was juicy, flavorful, and the double burger option was super generous — perfect for anyone looking for a high-protein halal meal.

The filet katsu was another standout — crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. The protein portion is definitely less than the burger.

On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making the experience even better. If you’re looking for premium halal meat and amazing service in Orlando, this is the place to be!

Update: I am not able to submit a second review on this business to reflect our sale experience, so I am editing this review to reflect the sale process.

We had a great experience during dining part of our visit. Please refer to my previous five star review about the daily experience. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience during the checkout process at Palm Beach Meats Orlando.

We were informed by the staff at the register that there was a 15% discount on select halal Australian meats, and they kindly offered to apply it to the ground beef we were interested in. Everything was going smoothly until they needed to ask the manager a question about a separate item — a jam that had about two weeks left before expiring.

As soon as the manager got involved to check on the jam, the promised discount on the halal beef suddenly disappeared. It felt abrupt and confusing, especially since the discount had already been mentioned and offered in good faith by the team.

While the staff were very kind and accommodating, the manager came off as stiff and unhelpful, with little flexibility or willingness to honor what had been communicated to us just moments before.

We came in excited to support a place that offers halal meats, but left feeling disappointed and undervalued. A more customer-friendly and consistent approach would...

There’s something particularly appealing about a restaurant that serves something as elite fine-dining as Japanese A5 wagyu in a casual, pub-like setting. You get to feel fancy and eat food you can’t get anywhere else in the area while also feeling cozy and at home. The team’s immense pride in their service and the food they offer is immediately apparent. They don’t simply offer you menu recommendations; they rave about what makes each dish delicious, what they love about the way the chef prepares it, and what makes it a unique offering that they’re excited to have you try. The excitement is so infectious and the food is so delicious that you may even feel brave enough to take home a few cuts of the wagyu and other specialty meats they offer at their counter! They’ll gladly give you tips on how to prepare each cut as well as suggestions for sides or other accompaniments that will complement the flavors. They have a great bar menu, including addictive mocktails that the team explainsed were inspired by the owners’ insistence that folks who don’t drink alcohol should still be included in the fun. After ordering at the counter, you can enjoy at the bar or one of the tables nestled into the casual yet refined dining layout. I wouldn’t argue with anyone saying that the A5 steak is pricey, but it is SO worth it that calling it “worth it” feels like a severe understatement. The texture, flavor, aroma, and plating come together to create an experience that will ruin you for all other steak. You will crave this steak. You will dream about it. Yes, the appetizers and wagyu hotdogs and sandos are off the charts delicious. Just be sure to treat yourself to the A5 steak and you won’t regret it!
