Krazy Good Food – A Flavorful Orlando Gem with Southern Charm
For lunch today, I stopped by another highly rated spot in Orlando: Krazy Good Food (spelled KRAZy). With a 4.9 out of 5-star rating on Google, I was eager to see what the hype was about—and I’m happy to report, it lived up to its name.
First Impressions
From the moment I walked in, the family-friendly atmosphere made me feel right at home. Ordering was seamless thanks to touchscreen kiosks at the counter, complete with full-color photos of every dish. Better yet, Zaena, a cheerful and knowledgeable team member, was there to guide me through the menu and highlight popular items.
She was especially enthusiastic about the burgers (not so much the seafood), so naturally, I had to try both.

What I Ordered
🔥 Banging Shrimp Tacos
Three soft shell tacos packed with giant, juicy shrimp. The presentation? Spot-on. The flavor? Mild but delicious. I expected the bangin’ sauce to bring some kick, but it leaned more sweet than spicy. Still tasty—just not the heat I was hoping for.
🍔 The Krazy Burger
This was no ordinary burger. We’re talking: • Toasted buns • Premium American cheese • Bacon • Fried egg • Onion rings • Lettuce, pickles, tomato • Some sort of sweet jam • Bang bang sauce
An absolute tower of a burger that delivered in every way. Like the tacos, the seasoning was subtle—so if you like some spice, definitely ask for an extra kick. Regardless, it was krazy good.
🥬 Collard Greens
This was a bold move—especially since few folks can cook greens like Big Mama. But guess what? Big Mama might be in the kitchen at Krazy Good Food, because these were amazing.
Only downside? Portion size. They were served in a small ramekin—like what you’d get for dipping sauce. It felt more like a sample than a side. Hopefully, they adjust this because the taste deserves a full bowl.
🍑 Peach Iced Tea
Let me say this clearly: This may be the best tea I’ve ever had. And I’ve had tea all over the country—and even overseas in Asia. The flavor was smooth, fresh, not overly sweet, and completely refreshing. Do not leave Orlando without grabbing a cup.

Dessert Time
The glowing reviews convinced me to order the Lemon Pound Cake for dessert. One bite in, and I was humming:
“Mmm… mmm… mmm… WOW!”
Seriously, it was that good. Moist, rich, and full of bright lemon flavor. If they sold whole pound cakes, I would’ve walked out with one.
Final Thoughts
Service: Excellent. Staff checked on me multiple times, always with a smile. Even when they were busy, it never felt like I was forgotten.
In addition to burgers and Southern comfort food, Krazy Good Food also has a wide range of seafood offerings—including Cajun boils, fried catfish, po’boys, haddock, and so much more. Whether you’re craving land or sea, they’ve got you covered.
If you’re in Orlando or anywhere near it, make the trip. Whether it’s for the shrimp tacos, Krazy Burger, collard greens, peach iced tea, or that heaven-sent pound cake—you’re in for a treat.
Krazy Good Food is krazy good...
Read moreA friend and I were ready for dinner. We were on our way to a store, so we checked google maps to see what restaurants we would pass as we drove. The usual chains popped up, but then our eyes fell upon Krazy Good Food, which was 4 minutes away from us. And we are so glad we did.
We both ordered a boil. I had the Shrimp boil and she the crab boil. Shrimp boil had 13 decent sized shrimp and the crab had two decent sized snow crab clusters. Both came with sides of corn on the cob and potatoes, and mine also had rice, and hers, linguini. And of course, we shared it all, so we had the best of both worlds.
Each dish was about $18, which we felt was reasonable. I do think they skimp on the sides, which are the least expensive foods for a restaurant, yet filling to the customer. I would have liked seeing double the amount of rice and linguini, even one more small potato for each.
But the food itself was served extremely hot, fresh, and extremely well seasoned. The meal was enjoyable, if not totally filling for me. They provide throw-away gloves and bibs to keep you clean, so need to worry about staining yourself as you slop up the delicious sauce.
I believe, but I could be wrong, this is a family run small business, and they were delightfully friendly, attentive and appreciative of all their customers. They really seemed to care you chose their place to eat. Although the place is small, and it was fairly crowded, finding a table was no issue.
They have an eclectic menu, with boils, sandwiches, burgers and more. And they have some very good daily specials. But the focus is on sea food, and they do it well. If my friend and I did not recently talk about having a boil sometime in the future, we might have ordered differently--everything looked so good. But we were both in the mood for a sea food boil, so this was perfect. It is about a mile from Millennium Mall, and slightly off the beaten path...not clearly seen from the main road.
If you are in the area, I would say pass on the typical chains and give Krazy Good Food a try. We liked it a lot, and we would certainly go there again if we are...
Read moreWhew!!! We are in Orlando for a week or and my boyfriend suggested we try this place. It’s not really tourist season so we were able to park right in front of the building for free. There are QR codes at the table that you scan to place your order and the food came out pretty quickly. Every single thing was hot and fresh! My chicken sandwich was 10/10!! I had hot honey drizzled on top. I also added bacon and cheese for an extra fee. The sandwich was huge, but I couldn’t stop eating lol!! The fries had that crunch on the outside, but were soft on the inside. Perfection. My boyfriend had the platter with chicken and haddock. I’m also gone taste his food sooooo I did. The chicken was good. He had his sauces on the side. He had hot honey, ATL (lemon pepper and buffalo sauce mixed), and the house sauce. The hot honey and ATL was fire!!! We weren’t a friend of the house sauce (maybe it was called crack sauce). It just tasted like mayo w/ a little ketchup to me. Now that fish was cooked perfectly!!! I wish it had a little more seasoning, but we dipped it in the sauces and that helped with the flavor. I wasn’t a fan of the mac and cheese. My boyfriend really liked how the greens were cooked, I wished they were cooked a tad bit longer, but they were decent. I also feel they lacked seasoning, but I put a little of the ATL sauce in it and that set it off!! I’m from Louisiana so I may like my food a little more salty/spicy than most. Overall, the food was amazing! I would definitely recommend and return myself. They had tvs and some music playing, but you could easily hold a conversation in here.
