You can get better espresso down the street at Haan…

At lineage, I ordered an extra Dry Cappuccino. Ideally that means there is more foam than milk, but it was basically a Latte in a mug. Which is whatever, I still drank it. The reason for the review is the overall taste of the espresso in the cappuccino. I know they use good beans but the shots must have died when they made my drink. Dont get me wrong, I crave a bitter espresso, but it tasted like coffee grounds and Milk.

The ambiance is cool; you knowstandard modern coffee shop with alot of people in the lobby. Very lively. The staff was alright, they seemed somewhat indifferent, which I dont mind cause we’re here for the coffee.

Ultimately, the drink wasn’t on par with other shops in the area. They also don’t have a cortado on the menu which I thought was interesting as well.

Oh and they kept their gallons of milk on the counter the entire hour I was there. This is a bad habit that baristas do so that they don’t bend down to grab the milk out of the fridge every time they get an order, and I’m guilty of this when I was a barista. However, I can only justify it when your drink orders are lined up back to back like a barista at a starbucks drive thru. If you’re at a bougie coffee shop with orders coming in every 3-5 minutes, where most people order oat milk and other substitutions, there is no need to keep the gallon of whole milk on the counter.

Overall, the place gave off an air of we’re good and we know it, so we don’t need to try.

My apologies for the frankness, but make some minor tweaks and this place would be awesome...

I usually come here for a quick coffee before work or errands, but most of the time it’s anything but quick. I understand how standing in line works, I’m not sure the staff does. More often than not, I’m stuck behind someone having a therapy session with the cashier before ordering, watching mid-transaction story breaks, or the cashier strolling away to keep chatting with a friend. I know it’s not always the staff starting these conversations, and I get that this is meant to be a social space, that’s fine. But holding up a line full of people for long personal chats is inconsiderate. And when it’s finally your turn, you’re met with silence, no greeting, no smile, no acknowledgment. It’s hard not to notice that certain customers get warmth and attention while others don’t. After enough visits, it feels less like a fluke and more like a deliberate choice. The staff clearly enjoy chatting with each other, which adds to the laid-back vibe, but they really don’t to be on their phones while pouring coffee or wandering around talking instead of making drinks. Coffee quality can be subjective, if it’s worth the frustration for you, go for it. I just can be leaving the place in an infuriating mood...

My family and I recently visited Lineage Coffee and had a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place is welcoming and perfect for coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. It's a great spot for friends and families, as we felt comfortable and well accommodated.

The coffee at Lineage Coffee is truly exceptional. Each cup is crafted with care, and the flavors are distinct and memorable. The variety of coffee options ensures that there is something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed trying their different brews and were impressed by the unique taste profiles.

In addition to the coffee, their chai is a standout. It's rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced, making it a great alternative for those who prefer something other than coffee. My family and I found ourselves savoring every sip.

During my recent visit to Lineage Coffee, I had the pleasure of trying both their piccolo and cappuccino. The piccolo is half espresso and half milk, making for a smooth and velvety drink that packs a punch. I was blown away by the amazing roast of the coffee, which was expertly prepared and presented. The cappuccino was equally impressive, with a perfect balance of espresso, steamed milk, and froth. The coffee was rich and full-bodied, with a deep and complex flavor profile that lingered on the palate. The foam was dense and creamy, adding a delightful texture to the drink. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by Lineage Coffee's commitment to quality and attention to detail. The preparation and presentation of both the piccolo and cappuccino were top-notch, making for a truly memorable coffee experience. If you're a coffee lover in the area, I highly recommend giving Lineage Coffee a try.

It’s a vibrant and tasty place. Colonial Drive in Orlando is not the most desired place to be in, but this particular area is rapidly becoming one. With some nice restaurants opened up nearby recently, I felt like I visited Williamsburg Brooklyn. I had to grab and go due to my schedule, but I told myself to give 2-3 hrs here during next visit. Now the taste of coffee. Yes, I had my shares of not-so-exciting taste previously. But it wasn’t the bad taste, it just did not suited to my preferred taste. And of course, I had plenty of occasions where I was like ‘wow’ at my first sip. If you are in the Disney area, this place is too far. Stick with the Joffrey coffee (over Starbucks) during your stay. But if you are near Universal area and you are a big fan of gourmet coffee, I think it’s worth a trip to Colonial Drive.
