Mr. K's Chinese Cuisine — Restaurant in Orlando

Came here for the first time tonight and walked in to a much smaller room then expected and it was complete silence. AWKWARDDDDD no music no greeting.... just complete silence. I could literally hear people chewing 😭. We still decided to sit down and give it a chance. The girl taking our order could barely speak English and had a hard time communicating. Very frustrating to say the least. Ordered sushi...they didn't have what we wanted. Asked for more noodles and duck sauce....she wasn't happy about that either. We waited at least 30 mins for the food and the entire time people were in and out picking up takeout...we can literally hear every order placed over the phone...others were standing and waiting for their food also in silence... did I mention the SILENCE was driving me insane😩😩 Anywho, I finished my drink while waiting for the food...no refill. The rice comes out first...we are almost done by the time the entree came out which were both mediocre.... and half way through that....we realized the lo mein we ordered never came. Cancelled that smh... Btw this entire time the people that were waiting for their orders were now listening to us chew 🙄 I must be in the twilight zone 😩 now we both need refills to wash down the sorrow of this experience. Not once were we checked on to see if we needed anything....

I told the girl that answers the phone that we needed water. she refills for us. Then the waitress has the NERVE to ask if we needed anything when she brought the check 🙄😤😤😤😤 she was then very sarcastic asking if I needed more water to go...no I needed it with my food...

I will never order take-out food from here again. I was extremely disappointed, last night I ordered szechaun dumplings, eggplant in garlic sauce, and some General Tsos chicken. On the phone they told me it would take 40 minutes which was already annoying, but with such great reviews I assumed it was worth the wait. I walked in 50 minutes later and not only was my order not ready, but 9 others were also waiting on take out orders. The women at the host stand did not acknowledge me or ask what I was there for(takeout or table). I stood for 15 minutes before I was even able to grab her attention. I finally got my food another 10 minutes later, spent $28. I got home, and was extremely angry. The dumplings were covered in a thick paste, no spice, chili oil or any flavor in the dumpling. The eggplant and veggies were stewed in just a mild brown sauce, no garlic flavor at all or any spice again. General Tso’s is one of my favorite adapted chinese dishes and this was horrifying. The chicken is so overcooked I could not chew it, the pieces were so extremely greasy that they were all stuck together. The general tso sauce was weirdly sour and had a strange odor. The food is sitting in my fridge just because I hate wasting food and money, but the taste is so bad I cannot stomach it. Szechaun style cuisine should have tons of spice and flavor, while all this food was just bland and greasy. I would never order from here again, especially with those prices, and since I paid cash I cannot even get my money back. Good luck to those who expect great take-out chinese, because this place does...

I just called your restaurant and wanted to speak to a manager but was told that the manager wasn't available until tomorrow. On 09/10/2022, one of your front house server/hostesses was being extremely hurtful and rude to my Mom and Dad around 6pm-7pm that day. If you have cameras in house, I would recommend watching what was happening.

My mom and dad ordered food, they waited a bit for it to come, Mom's food was cold. She told the server the first time that it was cold and he gave her a little attitude. The server brought it back cold again.

She called over the server and told him again that the food was cold, he then started yelling at my mom and dad. He cursed them out, threatened to call the police on them if they didn't pay, and intimidated my mom and dad by those threats.

I don't know what type of people you have working at your restaurant, or if you care about your business, but those types of people shouldn't be working for you.

My mom that same night after they paid, AFTER being threatened and cursed at, tried calling the restaurant, asking for the manager like I did just a couple minutes ago, and guessed who picked up?

The same guy! He picked up and when my Mom asked to speak to a manager, he continued to assault them verbally with insults, threats, and intimidation.

I'm going to copy and paste this message in all of your social media, to warn people the experience they went...
