I have had a few bad experiences here in the past. The pharmacy berated my mother and spoke to her like she was a child and refused to fill a prescription. The baggers often don't care and have put cans and jars in with fruit. When you put all your cold stuff together when checking out to make it easier for them to bag together, they still manage to separate them. But today was really the last straw. Something didn't ring up right, so I went to customer service. The employee didn't even look at my receipt and insisted it rung up right because when he scanned the item it showed the right price at that computer. He was arguing with me and wouldn't even look at the receipt. He didn't even want to correct the price, let alone do the Publix promise. I am not a mean person and I approached him very politely, but he spoke down to me and was very condescending. It was so disappointing and disrespectful. I think he refunded me to get me to go away, but the items genuinely did not ring up right at the register. So check the screen before you even pay because customer service will not help you and will probably be rude to you.

Read moreAbsolute worst Publix I’ve ever been to, unfortunately this happens to be my neighborhood Publix. I was waiting in line at 7:58pm for a simple order of wedges when nobody came to the counter to assist me. The employee returned at 8:01 and began to remove the hot food, saying she refused to serve me due to the time. I asked for an exception to be made to avoid the food being thrown out, especially since I was there before 8pm, but the employee laughed and said of course not, then looked over at other shoppers and shook her head which prompted the line of people at the deli to laugh at me. After being disrespected by the deli on multiple occasions and having to repeatedly return to their store for them to correct their incompetence, I’ll be making the wise decision to drive a few miles further to the Conway location for my grocery needs. Store supervisor Stephany and cashier Penny H. are always incredible. Management and cashiers go above and beyond regardless of the issue even when I’d rather not make their job any harder, something the deli and hot foods section has a problem with. The turnover rate for the deli employees is poor for a reason, hopefully in the future they can hire and train employees who don’t come to work looking to argue with people for no reason other than to exercise their...
