Very pleasing as far as the ambiance goes or i should say its very chill. With that said if ypu are seeking a loud bar where music is the primary entertainment i suggest you go elsewhere. Although to be fair i should mention that i have been there on two occasions and I'm basing my opinio from those two visits. So what is the primary entertainment, well beer silly. Don't let the menu confuse you, those are just their on tap selections as well as some of their own offerings brewed on premise. First i had the FANTOME, very strong and sour for a beer, but its higher alcohol made up for the intense flavor. The other beer i had was the in house IPA topped with some type of wine and i have to say that this beer was one of the strangest things i have ever tasted and the changing flavors will if not please everyone_cause they will not_but will at the very least leave all stunned at its complexity. Oh yes it was also hagh in alcohol. All in all awesome place for trying something new and local, most of all devoid of sometimes obnoxious...
Read moreRedlight is consistently rated amongst the best beer bars in Orlando (and Florida!) and for good reason; they keep an amazing selection of beer on tap, and have an even more impressive selection of bottled beer, wine, and mead available too. The staff has always been cordial, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, and I've never felt awkward asking for suggestions on something new to try. They recently moved from their old location on Bennett to a new one on Corrine Drive, which is a wonderful improvement - it's much more spacious, has better parking, and maintains that hole-in-the-wall atmosphere despite being a much larger space.
Moreover, if you're looking for a run-of-the-mill beer experience surrounded by a bunch of college bros trying something beyond Miller or Bud for the first time, stick to World of Beer; if you're looking for a craft beer adventure with like-minded enthusiasts who genuinely appreciate all the nuances of the craft, Redlight Redlight will...
Read moreDisappointed. I wanted to like it. I got the wings. 6 tiny wings and a scoop of white rice was a $13 Wednesday special. Substituting fries, which makes sense was not an option, not even with an upcharge. I did not want a huge plate of fries at and additional $9. My wife got the cauliflower wings. They were large chunks of cauliflower fried and tossed in sauce, which made large sections of just cauliflower. Smaller pieces of cauliflower would allow more crust and flavor throughout the dish. I guess they have a lot of good beers for people who want that but so does everybody. Kind of turned off that my bills first option for a tip was 30% instead of 20% or even 25%. So bottom line for ME is that small wings and rice seems like a money making move, 30% suggested tip seems like a money making move, etc…. I don’t mind spending money when I feel like it was good and I was satisfied. I felt hungry when I left and feel like I spent to much...
