Was kinda excited to come here, I use to work andfor maccaroni grill in another state and haven't been again since I left and was craving some classics. LLPWent in nobody in door was like 3-5 min till this kinda old server came in. I was dinning by myself so I decided to just go to the bar, so when I told her that if I could just go to the bar she looked at me and said "go ,what are you doing here then" I left to the bar, the bartender has not arrived yet so She asked if I wanted something to drink I said you know what I'm gonna have a Bellini, she looked at me like omg, I dont know how to make that, is there something else you might want, I said not really, shes like ok let me see if my manager knows how to make those, well in that wait I'the bartender goes in and started preparing it, and gave it to me, it was ok, in the mac I worked before we had a little blender so the consistency was better over there but I figured she made it by hand normal so it was just ok, she asked for my order, I said i need just a min, I didint noticed how much the menu change since 2 and a half almost 3 years that I've worked in before and was contemplating on maybe getting something else, but at the end I decided to go with the parmesan crusted chicken salad, was talked to to add the soup, and got the lobster bisque, very watery like if it was frozen, it was decently good but not all of that like I remembered it. The PCCS came in and it was ok, nothing too different from what I remembered it, just kinda sucked cause at one point i had the bread plate, soup plate, old bellini and a water with it, so I kinda put it neatly the things that I didint want there no more so that she took the hint to take it, while I was eating the old server came in and talk to the bartender apparently about some bad customers and gossiping, alot of staff came in and talk which is no problem everybody is allowed to say wassup to somebody but complaining about dif things it was a little uncomfortable. So that's why I gave it 2 stars, food could had been better but I believe some retraining in customer service and customer matters...
Read moreI have been a regular customer at this restaurant for many years during my trips to Orlando, and I have always enjoyed the excellent food and impeccable service. However, my last visit was a significant disappointment due to the service provided by an employee named Wing.Upon arrival, there was no one at the reception area to greet us, and since we had a traveler who had recently undergone leg surgery, we sat at the first table we found so she could rest. After searching for an employee, Wing, who was initially polite, told us it wasn't a problem and that someone would attend to us at that table. However, after waiting for 20 minutes, no one came.I returned to the reception area to request a change of table, once again clarifying our location. To our surprise, we were assigned Wing as our waiter. From the beginning, his attitude was dismissive; he took his time bringing us the menus, and when he finally did, he threw them down with disdain. When I asked him about his behavior, his response was simply that I could sit wherever I wanted, but not with him.At that moment, I decided to leave the restaurant. I don't believe there was a language barrier, although Wing doesn't speak English well, as the lack of professionalism and courtesy was evident. This incident was an exception to the numerous positive experiences I've had at this restaurant, and it cannot be ignored that a single employee can significantly affect the perception of service.My intention is not to criticize the restaurant as a whole, but to urge management to evaluate and improve the reception and service quality so that such situations do not happen again. Read moreI was immediately suspicious when I saw how empty this place was compared to the rest of the airport, and unfortunately, I was right. This ended up being one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time.
The food was bad. It tasted like something my 10-year-old brother might have thrown together.
The staff was friendly, but clearly not well-trained or well-managed. For a restaurant with only three people dining, it took way too long to be seated and even longer to get a drink. I watched the bartender make my drink and leave it sitting at the bar for ten minutes before my server finally brought it over.
The seats were uncomfortable, and there were napkins and spilled drinks on the floor when I walked in. They were still there when I left. No one seemed even remotely concerned with cleaning it up.
At one point, I felt like I was in a prank video. I kept waiting for someone to jump out and say it was a joke, but that moment never came. It was just a bad experience from start to finish.
If the owner is reading this, the first step needs to be replacing the management. There appeared to be two managers on the floor, and both seemed to be ignoring everything happening around them. The issues here are not hidden. They’re obvious the moment...
