Silva's Market Brazilian Butcher & Restaurant — Restaurant in Orlando

Theres parking right outside as this is also located at a small Mall strip area.

As we came in we could see that the place was like a small supermarket with butter and all catering various Brazilian products and foo items.

After seeing the market at the same space we could observe tables and a buffet style food line.

The way it works here is, you get your plate and serve yourself, once you get to the register you will weight your meal and get your drink, pay at the end a the register.

They had BBQ and they also had chicken hearts, they seem to be the only place around the area that serves that item in their BBQ menu, so if you are interested to try, here is your chance.

The food here as the best in the region in our opinion, for sure. A little more expensive since food by the weight is more expensive than getting the meal on a. prefix buffet style but totally worth it.

THEY DO NOT HONOR THE CHECK IN DISCOUNT. so this is the biggest negative here for me, I checked in on yelp and the employees didn't seem to be familiar with it and decided not to honor the yelp promo without even calling a manager.

I have been a customer of this place for 3 years because I really like the place and food. Then on February 09, 2022 I was there e went to use the restroom and realized that the door handle was missing. It was weird because the restaurant was working regularly and there was no sign of maintenance or any information on the door. Even through I came in to wash my hands and when trying to leave the restroom, I realized that I was stuck inside the restroom. It was a really awkward situation, I was calling for help for a few minutes and nobody came to assist. Started feeling bad and feeling anxious and did not know what to do. Trying to open the door, it looked like a really old door, then it broke open with a little damage. Finally I could sit down on my table and right after 2 persons who identified themselves as owners of the place, come right after me and did not even ask if I was well, just came to me with accusing words requesting me to pay for the door. The restaurant was crowded. After a few minutes a police car came in and requested me to come for interrogation. I felt completely discriminated maybe because I am black. Everybody looked at me as I was a criminal. I completely lost my ground and did not know how to react. Even paying for the food, I could not eat, received a warning from the Police Officer to stay away from the restaurant.

Now please tell me, is this the right way to treat a customer? Until now I feel some anxiety crises... how much is the cost of a life? Is it the price of a door? I never expected to go through a situation like that in the United States of America.

Sou cliente deste lugar há 3 anos porque gosto muito do lugar e da comida. Então no dia 09 de fevereiro de 2022 eu estava lá e fui usar o banheiro e percebi que faltava a maçaneta da porta. Foi estranho porque o restaurante estava funcionando regularmente e não havia sinal de manutenção ou qualquer informação na porta. Entrando para lavar as mãos ao tentar sair do banheiro, percebi que estava preso dentro do banheiro. Foi uma situação muito constrangedora, fiquei alguns minutos pedindo socorro e ninguém veio atender. Comecei a sentir-se mal e ansioso e não sabia o que fazer. Tentando abrir a porta, parecia uma porta muito velha, então se abriu com um pequeno dano. Finalmente pude sentar na minha mesa e logo após isso 2 pessoas que se identificaram como donos do lugar, vieram logo atrás de mim e nem perguntaram se eu estava bem, apenas vieram até mim com palavras de acusação pedindo que eu pagasse a porta . O restaurante estava lotado. Depois de alguns minutos, um carro da polícia entrou e me pediu para ser interrogado. Me senti completamente discriminado, talvez porque sou negro. Todos olharam para mim como se eu fosse um criminoso. Perdi completamente o chão e não sabia como reagir. Mesmo pagando a comida, não pude comer, recebi uma advertência do Policial para ficar longe do restaurante.

Agora, por favor, me diga, esta é a maneira correta de tratar um cliente? Até agora sinto algumas crises de ansiedade... quanto custa uma vida? É o preço de uma porta? Nunca esperei passar por uma situação como essa nos Estados...

It was my first visit. I don’t speak Portuguese and I was asking what the good included as I’m allergic to some foods. The staff was short and rude. The meat cutter was giving me the meat with fat and the guests who spoke Portuguese got the best meat cuts! By the time I got to the register, the cashier was VERY rude, as he was about to charge me 19.99 for a plate which was even without meat!

I explained it is my first visit and I was not aware. He basically stepped away from the register, took my food and went inside basically refusing my business. Very rude and disrespectful, as his excuse was meat costs them a lot of money! He might be the owner or the manager. Rest assured this place hires cheap scumbags. I would not recommend this...
