SmooTea — Restaurant in Orlando

An unassuming little stall in Enson Market, SmooTea ended up being one of our favorite tea shops in the Orlando area! We have been to a LOT and a great way to tell if a place is good or not is trying their “classic” or “original” milk tea. If you can’t even make your signature original drink good, how can it be a good recommendation?

SmooTea actually does - they have a very nice, strong black tea taste that isn’t overly sweet and is pretty much one of the best black milk teas you could ask for. We also tried a green apple slush and that was awesome as well. The man working behind the counter was very friendly and you could tell he cared about his work - they also have really nice deals with many drinks where you buy 3, get 1 free, so if you’re going to get boba with some friends, this is the perfect spot! My visit to Smootea left me utterly disappointed, primarily due to their abysmal customer service. Despite their enticing buy three g et one free offer, my experience turned sour from the moment I tasted my Matcha milk Tea. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the staff's response was dismissive, suggesting I simply add sugar to mask the unpleasant taste. They also asked me if I have never tasted matcha before because that’s how it’s supposed to taste like. .Even after voicing my concerns to the owner, I was met with the same indifferent and condemning attitude . The lack of flexibility and refusal to address my dissatisfaction left me feeling utterly disregarded as a customer. Spending $20, including a 20% tip, only to leave with a bitter drink and a bitter experience, is beyond disappointing. While Smootea may boast a decent product, their abhorrent customer service renders it utterly undesirable. Needless to say, I will never patronize this...

Me and my family stopped by after shopping inside of the enson market, they had a special buy 3 get 1 free(which came out to $17 and change. My son is into boba tea so we really only went for him but seen the deal and we all decided to try. My son chose the original flavor (good), my mom chose peach (she was skeptical but she said it was okay), I chose mango (now I’m just stuck dreaming of it every chance I get) I loved it so bad, my daughter got strawberry ( I tasted hers it was too sweet for my liking, but fairly good). The shop owners were polite and fast service. 10/10 I highly recommend and I’m buying every time I go...
