You pull up and you smell the smoke. You smell the fat rendering off of the ribs and brisket. This is what true BBQ is supposed to be. I’ve been to many BBQ joints in Orlando. St. Vicks is leading the pack by a LONG SHOT. Traveled to Austin and went to all the Top Dogs out there. St. Vicks is on par with those pit masters. If you live in college park (or the soon to be packing district) this should be a staple. If you live in Orlando you should put this into your rotation. If you are visiting Orlando you would be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t make the trip out here (yes there is actually amazing food in Orlando once you leave the Disney bubble) A couple good things to note for first timers: -located right next to a Sunoco gas station -order from the side window -yes the take card -no seating available (but you have a car right?) -sides are just as good as the meat (usually it’s one or the other) -yes it’s on North OBT, yes it’s a safe area, you have the dr. Phillips packing district just to the north (walking distance), you have the Orlando country club and golf course to the south of you, and you have college park (best zipcode to live in) to the east of you. Make the time to visit, you won’t regret it.

So I read the reviews, pulled up and saw the cute little place and smelled the smoke. And I wanted to love this place. Sadly I didn't. Admittedly I cook a lot of bbq myself so I'm very picky. I got a half rack of ribs and a pound of brisket, no sides. The ribs were a little tough and chewy and the brisket was a little roast beefy. Not a huge smoke flavor even though they are cooking on an offset. Brisket had a slight aftertaste. The sauces were both okay. But one note. No complexity of flavor. All in all, acceptable bbq with a cool atmosphere and really nice people! I wouldn't avoid it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again.

My pulled pork sandwich was excellent and piled high. It was moist and tender, and really didn't need anything on it. The BBQ sauces were great, I had to stop myself from eating them straight from the cups. The beans were served cold which surprised me, but they had a good flavor. They definitely have mustard and hot sauce in them, but not overpowering. The macaroni and cheese was good, but had what I assume was smoked cheese on the top. It was tough to bite through so I peeled it off and ate the rest. I'll definitely be back to try the brisket. If it's as good as the rest, I'll be eating here weekly.

MOST amazing food truck I have ever been blessed to visit.

My boyfriend and I were in Orlando and his coworker told him that her uncle has a food truck there! So we decided to check it out between our many plans, and THANK GOD we did!

We ordered one brisket sandwich each. My boyfriend ordered the Mac N' Cheese as a side, and I ordered the collard greens as a side. Sadly, we were so hungry and ate everything so quickly we didn't get the chance to take any pictures. :-(

It makes sense that this food was such high quality. The truck features a giant, industrial smoker grill, and the owner has perfected his recipe to absolute perfection. The meat is so tender, juicy, and flavorful. The smokiness level in the flavor is perfection - not too smoky to where it overpowers the flavor of the meat, but smoky enough to make you understand all of the time it took to cook and prepare.

I, like many others, have had a lotttt of Mac N' Cheese in my lifetime. It's so hard to find a homemade Mac N' Cheese that's perfect in flavor, consistency, and texture. This Mac N' Cheese was the perfect level of everything. A homemade Mac N' Cheese that isn't dry is typically unheard of from me - St. Vic's Smoke Shack was an ultimate exception. The owner doesn't seem to have the word "dry" in his vocabulary, and it's one of the reasons he'll go to Heaven (a joke, but completely serious).

This was my first time having collard greens. While I regret not letting this dish bless my tastebuds before, I am so glad that my first time trying this delicacy was at St. Vic's. I don't even have words to describe how amazing this was. The recipe uses pieces and juices from his homemade brisket, and the collard leaves somehow had the perfect balance of crispiness and moisture. (I'm sure for budgeting sake, he might not buy freshly grown collards, but I would literally not be surprised one bit if he grows them in his backyard and picks them fresh every morning.)

There is no parking lot for the food truck, but there really isn't any need. The owner pushes food out so fast and consistently. He was preparing our brisket sandwiches with meat that he had literally just pulled out of the smoker after we already walked up and ordered, and we still only waited maybe 10-15 minutes to receive all of our food.

It was 1:30PM - not even three hours after opening - and he was already sold out. We are lucky we know his niece! He made a special exception for us, and thank goodness he did; otherwise, we would not have had our tastebuds absolutely blessed that day.

10/10, 5 stars, best food in Orlando (yes, in ALL of Orlando), best food truck...

So, I don't review much and I sure as hell never feel inclined to review food. That said, I don't think I've ever had a brisket that was as good as what I had today at St. Vic's. Seriously, I got taken to the food truck by my friends and had absolutely zero idea what to expect. Got myself a Brisket sandwich and some Mac N' Cheese. Went home, ate it, was absolutely floored at just how amazing it was. Good bark, amazing seasoning, tender and juicy meet but more importantly it was well seasoned all the way through, smoke ring was beautiful and... I went back 2 hours later to get 2 more pounds of it only to find out that someone had beaten me there and bought AN ENTIRE 12lb brisket. That's what we're talking about here, a place that sells out of their BBQ before they close. A place that makes BBQ that's so killer people come back twice in the same day.

Consider me a new regular, because my mind was blown. We just don't have BBQ like this around these parts (We have good places, but this is next level).

Thanks for making...
