Orlando, FL. Tucked into the poshest area of downtown Lake Nona, this Starbucks fits in just fine. Plus, the person with curly caramel hair in a ponytail greeted everyone and sang along with one of the songs—- great voice and that added sunshine to the day.
They’ve gone to using white mugs and rectangular plates if you’re eating in. Most were taking their coffee to go.
I saw a couple of people doing remote work. This was a Saturday, so most people coming through were in exercise outfits, or out sightseeing from the nearby Wave Hotel, or reading the news on their phones.
The crew was excellent and our tea (Chai for Steve and Chamomile Mint for me) came out perfect. So did the Sous Vide Egg Bites and oatmeal.
We arrived around 8:50 am and the front room was pretty calm. By 9:30 am the place was about 75% full. Caramel ponytail was still happy, through. The team looked focused and was keeping things moving.

Read moreMy coworkers and I have sort of become regulars at this place. We work across the street so we usually walk over for coffee in the morning or afternoon. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. There’s been times when we’ve accidentally ordered a drink wrong or the barista misunderstood our order but they are always eager to help make it right. The manager/owner is always very polite and welcoming when he sees us. We’ve even seen him behind the counter helping out his team during busy hours. Despite the heavy traffic this place gets, the staff manages to keep everything fairly clean, even the bathrooms. Overall, this Starbucks is a great place to stop by for a quick drink or even to stay a while and chat or get...
