My brother and I met for lunch at this establishment. As we entered into the restaurant we are in the bar area and the music was playing rock at about a 9 on the volume scale. The host greets us and asks, do you want to sit here in the high top area or the dining room? Knowing that the dining area is going to be taking us out of the bar area and where the music will not be so loud, I speak up and say we’ll sit in the dining room. But, when we are seated, we find that the music is still very loud. My brother made statement to me that he was having a very difficult time concentrating due to the music volume. When the waitress comes to get our drink order, my brother mentions that the music is at a very high volume. The waitress states, it’s not even playing in the dining area. Following taking our drink order, the waitress leaves the dining area, and within minutes, the host comes into the entrance of the dining room and proceeds to turn the speakers on in the dining area which we were sitting. She returns back to the bar area and we hear the two girls giggling. When the waitress returns back to our table I question her on the matter and she tells me that they were not laughing. I told the waitress we needed a few more minutes to decide on food. Realizing at this time, I should have told my brother that we should just leave. However, I told her to give us an extra few minutes, When she returned, we put our order in. I also was a bit concerned with the whole episode that somebody might spit in my food. At this time, more people started coming in, and they had turned the music down. When we received our food, I ate my french fries but not my sandwich due to the fact that I was afraid of what could’ve been done to my sandwich. Once my brother finished, we paid the bill and left a tip. Over the next few days, I did make many attempts to reach the manager of the Orleans establishment, every attempt I was told manager was not available. I then tried the Dennis establishment, and told the manager was not available there as well. A gentleman by the name of David told me he was going to give a message to Jane and Andy Murphy the directors and they would call me. I cannot say that they did or did not call, but I did not get a voice message to return a phone call. I made one more attempt to call the Dennis establishment, Spoke to David stating he did give the message to Jane and Andy Murphy. I told him that I would not be visiting either establishment. I think that the behavior was very unprofessional and all that should’ve been done was that somebody should have lowered the volume to make our experience a...
Read moreThe menu and atmosphere was very nice. Really want to have a good time. Unfortunately the service was horrendous. The person who sat us and the person who bussed our table were very nice. It was the server, she had an attitude from the first to last interaction. The worst part though was that when our meals arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered fried clams with onion rings, granted a special order. I received French fries not onion rings. The order was delivered by a bus person not the server. The server never checked back with us. It was a quiet night, we were in a side room, no one else came in. I ate the fried clams which were delicious and worthy of a 5 star rating. Left the French fries uneaten, I cannot eat potatoes. My wife finished her meal which was great. We really should have had an excellent time. The server still did not return we continued to wait. Finally a person asked if they could remove our dishes, we said no thank you we needed the server and the check. The server came over asked how everything was, I said my order was wrong, explained why. She offered to have the rings made. I declined, it was late and we had been waiting for 20 minutes since finishing our meal. I again asked for the check. She left, came back with the check and said she removed the $2 up charge for the onion rings. That was as close to an apology we would receive for the wrong order and paying for a plate of uneaten...
Read moreWe stopped here based solely on the name as we are a group of dog lovers. We were not disappointed in our decision! We were greeted warmly, sat promptly, and our waitress, Isabelle, was great the entire visit; she was personable, helpful, and attentive. We ordered the Crab Dip appetizer. The warm dip was creamy and delicious. It is served with toasted crostinis that paired perfectly. Not a speck of the dip was left. One of our group got the Ceasar Salad with grilled chicken but subbed the Ceasar dressing for the new Raspberry Vinegarette. Definitely try this dressing; it's fantastic! I got the Watermelon Salad special, which had mixed greens, walnuts, cubed watermelon, cucumbers, and the raspberry vinegarette. I also got one Stuffed Quagog, which was tasty and had a nice crunchy outside with a moist inside. The flavor was good. A third in the group got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and he said it was the best one he'd had in years. It was served with fries, which were nice and crispy. The onion soup was very good here, as well. We all had various cocktails. We'd definitely return here in the future. This establishment also sells a small line of branded t-shirts, so check them out behind the bar; we left...
