We visited on Monday in mid-June 2025 for dinner. There was very few parking spots at the restaurant. We were lucky and got a spot as someone was pulling out when we arrived. There was a line but it moved pretty fast. It does take a few mins for them to make the food. We decided to dine in. The weather was nice and they had shaded area in the back. We actually did 2 orders. We ordered one set of items and it was so good we decided to go back and order more. haha. Our first order: - Butcher Burger with sauce on side double: kid at it all. - Ring Burger double: good, kid ate it all - Pickle and Peppers double: good, kid ate it all - Fried Fish Sandwich: larger than expected, very good. - Fried Chicken Sandwich: larger than expected, very good. Our second order: - Burcher Burger with sauce on side single: Same picky kid finished it all again too. - 2 onion rings: reminded me of blooming onion with sauce but more fine. Very good. - Lobster roll: really good with lots of large lobster pieces but bun was very cold. Wish it was more room temp. - Fried Clam sandwich: really good with lots of clams. We enjoyed everything, there was nothing that we wouldn't order again. It was a bit on the pricey side but the quality of the food was spot on. There was tons of people here too so I'm guessing it must be good and value was good too. You get what you pay for here. This was also the cheapest price for a lobster roll we had seen for our entire trip up the Northeast coast. The atmosphere here was great too with the seating. They have walls that come out if it starts raining or maybe if it gets too cold. We saw that they have in ceiling heaters as well but it was nice evening and they weren't on. The bathroom was also very nice and clean. Overall, great food, great staff and great atmosphere. Couldn't ask for much more. We would visit again if we were in the area. But because of cost I think it would be mainly for a special treat. We were on vacation so we splurged a bit here.

Heard good things so decided to take a small road trip and check it out before the crowds. It is probably my fault but I didn’t know that everything is outdoors. It’s an outdoor walk up window to order. It’s located only a few feet from busy Rt.6A, so there’s nothing enjoyable about ordering g food when cars are whizzing by you. It was 41 degrees out and raining. The small canopy at the window didn’t help much so I retrieved a hat from my car. We ordered a burger on a GF roll, a cheeseburger and some onion rings. The service was fast. They take your phone number and text you when it’s ready. I applaud this system as it seemed to work well. We were intending to eat in the premises but didn’t realize all of the seating available is outdoors. Part of the outside is covered with heavy plastic and there are heaters overhanging the tables. The tables and chairs are flimsy metal ones and weren’t inviting on a cold, raw, damp New England Spring day. The section to enter this part of the eating area is open. There is no door, so the cold air still came in despite the overhead heaters. Onto the food. I’ve eaten a lot of GF rolls, most are not very tasty. Mine fell into this category. There are a few good ones out there and I suggest they might try some other brands. My burger was ok, nothing special. My wife said the same thing about hers. The onion rings were good, they are the thin, stringy type. All in all I’d have to say I was disappointed with “The Knack” and don’t see myself making another road trip to try it again.

Stopped by the Knack on our weekend in Cape Cod and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed it so much we made a point to stop in a couple more times on our trip. Lobster rolls were insanely delicious and fresh. Onion rings have excellent seasoning and flavor with a great dipping sauce. They don’t taste like your generic fried food but the flavors of the onion and black pepper really shines through. Milkshakes hit the spot as well. You really can’t go wrong! My family also made several stops in and everyone immensely enjoyed everything they tried. It was a running joke our whole trip that if we were talking about good food then we must be talking about the Knack. Will definitely be visiting here frequently anytime we find ourselves on the Cape. All outdoor seating with covered and heated options for chilly weather. Dog friendly as well!

Everything here that I've tried has been good, and I've tried nearly everything on the menu. Prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area, and everything on Cape cod is fairly expensive. If you want a cheaper option just go to Wendy's, its literally across the street. The burgers feel small, and tend to fall apart due the soft potato roll, juicy burger, and many soft ingredients. The avocado burger in particular, while delicious, does not hold together very well. Fries are hot, crispy, and fresh. Served with salt and black pepper they have a small bite that I love, and the onion strings are hand battered and cooked to order! Milkshakes are amazing and perfect for a hot summer day. My biggest complaint is the parking situation. The knack has a small lot right off one of the busiests roads in Orleans and can be a nightmare to get in and out of. Fortunately there's more parking in the back, but when it gets busy this area gets pretty cramped. The knack is counter service only and the staff have been patient and helpful in my experience. Being that the only seating is outdoors this place can get pretty cold or windy especially in the shoulder seasons. I'd recommend the knack, but be prepared to deal with the parking and potentially a pretty long line at the counter. My go to order is a bacon dog with a...
