Bronx House Pizza - Ormond Beach — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

It really pains me to leave a bad review for this restaurant. Check my other reviews, I leave many and I almost always leave positive reviews.The pizza here is really excellent. I have been dining here for quite some time. Today I had the strangest service I have ever experienced anywhere. I brought in a coupon that appeared in a coupon clipper magazine that comes in the mail. (I am posting a picture of this coupon in this review) There is nowhere on this coupon where it says the discount is only available on the app. To be fair, it does say in the bottom right corner order from our app today, but that doesn’t mean these prices are only available when ordering from the app. But just to be sure prior to placing my order at the irdering, I asked a dark haired server if this coupon was good on a particular meal I wanted and she said yes. I finished my meal presented the coupon. Another server, a curly haired blonde, brought back my receipt charged for the full price with lout the coupon discount. The blonde girl who charged, said the coupon is only Valid on the app which is not what the coupon says. Both of them stood there and I asked incredulously so you said this coupon is good on my order placed here and you’re telling me it’s only good when ordering from the app. They shrugged their shoulders and said yeah and walked away. Before leaving, I went back one more time and told the curly haired blonde girl that the coupon does not specifically state that it’s not good in the store. She said well I’m not the newspaper and I’ve been giving away a lot of free discounts on food today so I just can’t do that anymore. my jaw hit the floor and I just left. I hope the management sees this post and can do something about their overall service and marketing strategy. When you put an ad in a publication to get people to drive to your establishment you really ought to honor the coupon. I’m not even going to go into how helper skelter the service was. I observed the staff running around not waiting on customers and doing mostly side work. I saw two different people get up and walk over to get some attention so they could be waited on. This place is a train wreck from an operational standpoint and how they run the store which is a shame, because the food is good. Look at my other reviews on Google,I almost never give bad reviews and as I said, it really is painful to have to write this. We had previously dined at the St Augustine location and had an amazing experience, so on vacation we decided to visit the Ormond Beach location. We were joined with family & friends by our recommendation. The food was subpar at the Ormond Beach location. It was bland and dry. It tasted like it had been sitting for awhile. The service was horrible. The waitperson acted very hurried and forgetful. Our appetizer order did not arrive until much later after we reminded the waitperson. Several meals were forgotten, so while other members of the party had finish eating, there were others that didn't get their meal. When we inquired about the issue, we were met with laughing and "oops I"m sorry". It was so late by now, we just wanted to leave. That was obviously funny too because the waitperson laughed and literally yelled to the kitchen to "bag em up". The manager never once came to our table throughout the night with an explanation or apology. A member of our party did approach the manager when we were leaving and the lady (manager) was very unapologetic, rude and criticized our party out loud to other customers in the restaurant. In fact, she said in a very rude tone "what do you want a cannoli". I was so embarrassed because we had recommended the restaurant and so disappointed for such a poor experience.
