I have lived in Ormond now before this store opened, I believe in 2015. Over time the store has certainly had its ups and downs.
I have been a customer since they have opened. It seems after the Pandemic you really had to want Chipotle to come to this location, there was a time when old food trays would be stacked, food every where. It felt like no matter when I came in they were always missing something.
Thankfully I am here to tell you, those days are LONG gone. I would come to this location about twice a week, and I would be lucky to get a bowl I was happy with. One day like magic, it was a 180* Change. The counters were clean, all of the food trays were full,The staff looked like they went back to training. It took a few more visits before I caught on to the change. The change you may ask? Was an amazing Employee by the name Sarah. I started to put two and two together that If I seen Sarah working I knew my experience was going to be one of the best I had.
My third visit seeing her working, I had to ask. Are you with corporate? She seemed like the person you send to a store when they need to be straightened out. Turns out she was the new GM.
I may just be a normal customer who none of these people know, but each and every time I visit, I feel like the CEO walking in when she is working. I kid you not, from the time she started my order one time, it took 18 seconds from when I was paying. Yes, I ran my watch.
In a time where the manners of service have gone out the window, you can be assured that is not the case here. I am writing this because she is a go above employee and she deserves some credit.
I now go-to this store everyday for lunch, because I am CERTAIN I get the best service I could get from ANY food establishment in this town. I do not know Sarah, but I TRUELY hope that upper management appreciates her, and what a super star they have working at this location. My only fear is that she out grows this location and moves on.
It's not just her that has improved this store, she is the type of person that has brought those around her , to her standards.
If you are hungry, I hope you give this store a try. Its true your employees make or break you. In this case, she MAKES the experience.
I see a corporate position in her future! (Sarah if you ever read this, and you get some top level job, please do not forget to sprinkle the magic you bring to this store)
As for the food quality, it has been 11/10 since she has arrived, she makes the people around her happy to be there, just a overall positive vibe. When the vibe is good, the rest follows.
She should be used as an example to other GM on how to get the job done.
This store went from a 4/10 location to a 11/10 location.

Read moreThis was the worst customer service i’ve ever seen. we walked in and immediately got rushed, the portion sizes were terrible for the price. not to mention while i was being asked what i wanted in my bowl, i was being rushed by the cash register woman asking if we were paying together or separate. then i asked for side sour cream and they started putting lettuce in the cup so i politely said that it was supposed to be sour cream and they literally yelled at me saying “it’s for the lady behind you” but first of all how am i supposed to know that someone’s behind me, second of all there was no need to be yelling or to be rude. then they asked me 4 times if i wanted any chips or guac and i said no thank you every single time. then they were rude to my boyfriend when i went to the bathroom. when it was time for drinks we got our cups and like we do every single time we were getting the lemonade, and they come over and say that we didn’t pay for it, but we’ve literally done the same thing every single time, not our fault that they don’t know how to ring something up correctly. and the fact that they’re going to sit there and watch us get drinks? they literally get paid minimum wage, no need to be acting like a child. there were 3 older woman that were the worst people i’ve ever met. they were rude and disrespectful and talking down to me like a child. then said to my boyfriend that i was rude? i did nothing but be respectful and use my manners until she came at us over lemonade. very very very rude and i will never be going back to this location. i have never had an experience like this not even at a sit...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at Chipotle. I drove 15 minutes out of my way to this location, even though there's another Chipotle just 5 minutes from my house. I've loved the Ormond location due to the night crew that's normally there—they're super nice, and the food is always great. However, this visit was a huge disappointment.
The host, who initially told me her name was Margaret , was extremely rude. This was all because I wasn't getting my payment method out as quickly as she liked, and she wanted me to hurry up and pay. After leaving, I called the store to speak with a manager, and the same rude host answered the phone. I could tell it was her by her distinct raspy smoker's voice. This time, she claimed her name was Penny. When I asked for her name again, she sarcastically told me to look on my receipt and then hung up on me.
The level of nastiness and attitude Penny/Margaret showed makes me never want to return. This kind of dishonesty and disrespect is unacceptable. Just to drive all this way and experience this was incredibly frustrating. I’m 99% sure her name was Penny, although she was using Margaret’s login credentials. She’s an older white lady, who...
