My family and I have always loved Lenny's Pizza; however, after our experience tonight, we will never eat at this establishment again. Our order consisted of a pizza and 2 sandwiches with fries. I was told the delivery time would be 60-80 minutes (expected on a Friday night). I waited until 9:30 before calling to find out where my food was at, only to be told that it was my fault my food was so late because I had ordered 2 beef sandwiches. I was literally yelled at by the individual on the phone, and so I asked to speak to the manager. I was informed that I was speaking to the manager; therefore, I asked to speak to the owner. I was told that I would never be able to speak to the owner and then the manager of this store went on to tell me that he has his hands full dealing with all of the incompetent help, he is trying to deal with a store that is $150,000 in food debt, he does not jump through hoops for anyone, he cannot be responsible for what happens with his drivers, servers, cooks; he only makes $9.00 an hour and is expected to put up with all of the complaints (which he said there were many because nobody else can do their jobs) and the list goes on and on. I literally felt like I was this man's therapist. I would stronly suggest to the owner of this store that he look for a new manager who can better deal with a high-paced environment and who can accept responsibility for the errors he makes instead of trying to push them off onto his employees and, worst yet, his customers. Good food or not, this manager has soured me to Lenny's and we will never order from there again.
And by the way, my food did arrive and almost 10 o'clock and we sent it back as who really wants to eat food that has been in a vehicle for almost 2 hours. Shame on...
Read moreWe’re new to the area, and I am SO happy I noticed them when I went to Dunkin.
First, I’ve got to mention the people - I am as picky with people as I am food and the 3 ladies I spoke to I could tell off the bat were GREAT people! One was his daughter. The other 2 idk if they were of any relation, but the way they spoke to me, even right before they closed, they were great. And unfortunately, a lot of the time when family works for you, they’re entitled and often rude to the customers. Not these ladies! Lenny’s a lucky man to have them working for him! ❤️ Because honestly, I don’t care how good the food is if the staff is rude, I would not be back. But here, you can tell right away they’re great people!!!
The food - I’ve only been once and haven’t got to try everything yet, but BEST NY pizza I have had anywhere - hands down. I have been a die heart Angelina’s Pizzeria customer for over 10 years and I was never able to find anywhere that’s even comparable, much less better!! I kid you not, I am such a critic when it comes to food. In no way am I exaggerating that their food is phenomenal. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu. (I need to hurry up and finish this review so I can try the cannoli lol)
And finally their prices are great across the menu. Without question, we will be back, as often as possible!
P.S- get the XL pizza, it’s totally...
Read moreFrom the moment my friend and I set foot inside Lenny’s for the first time, we instantly felt like we were home. The vibe is so relaxed and inviting and their customers are treated like family. The service was absolutely phenomenal, they definitely went above and beyond the call of duty. Oh but the food, the food did not merely sing, it was a symphony of flavor composed by a true artist of his craft. Their garlic knots were out of this world and, in my opinion, the most satisfying bite of food I’ve had in a very very long time. As far as entrees go, I ordered their veggie calzone and my friend had gotten there Philly cheesesteak Stromboli, both of which were absolutely delicious. To finish off the meal, the owner graciously brought us their signature cinnamon knots. Let me tell you about these knots. Imagine their garlic knots are really as amazing as I’ve claimed (which they are), and now imagine that same perfect dough covered in cinnamon and sugar and served with a caramel sauce and raspberry drizzle. Perfection. I cannot think of a better way to end a long relaxing day at the beach than to stop by Lenny’s Pizza on your way home. If I could give them six stars I would. I think their website sums up what they’re all about the best: “A genuinely warm welcome and first rate friendly service.” You just...
