It was Ok. The smoothie machine was "down" IE not working and instead of the manager or supervisor emptying the ice and clearing the blades, she got snippy with the employee and said, "it's still not working". You could hear the blades were jammed... I then tried to order a pumpkin latte at which point, this same supervisor or what ever she is, then interrupted the employee as he tried to explain why the pumpkin latte was still on the menu, yet unavailable to order. The young man was doing just fine with his explanation and was incredibly polite when the other person interrupted with an unpleasant tone (snotty), restated what the young man said and added, "there's nothing we can do about it" - yet, my husband and I had said nothing to imply anything could be done to resolve the issue. We were standing there, dumbfounded at how ridiculous this was becoming. The place was not busy at the time and nothing preventing anyone from clearing the jam. Regardless whether I wanted a smoothie or not, in my opinion, when management is rude and permits sales impacting issues such as jammed blades or selling fries that have well passed their sell by time, to continue, begs the larger question - if she doesn't address minor issues, what larger, more important items are ignored? Lazy is as lazy does and that can be pretty filthy.
Regarding our order.... We simply ordered 2 fries: 1 medium and 1 large. Well, both orders were old and soggy but the kicker - my husband's so-called "large" fry was the equivalent of a less than medium! Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until we had gone to the 2nd McDonald's and returned home. Needless to say, he was more than annoyed at having paid for 1 product yet received a sub-par different item.
The place looked clean and I didn't use the facilities; therefore, I don't know about the cleanliness. I did notice there was wheelchair access into and out of the building as well as close to the door handicapped parking. Inside, there was seating which will afford a wheelchair proper access to the table and the condiment bar appeared to be situated so someone in a sitting position can reach all but the fountain drinks, depending upon the persons reach. The high chairs appeared to be clean and in good working order.
Overall, if that woman is a supervisor or manager she needs a refresher course on how to talk to people and a basic course in how to be polite, not interrupt 101, Product holding times and product fill amounts. In other words, an entire supervisor/common sense course. I only regret not noticing her name tag so I could properly report this to their home office. We are regular patrons of McDonald's, if for nothing else than an order of fries and beverages while were out on our walks and it's unfortunate that this one store can diminish the reputation of them all.
I was completely put off with the super/manager's actions and left ASAP. I did use my Google Maps and located another McDonald's further...
Read moreI have been a customer at this McDonalds location for over 10 years. I have NEVER been treated the way I was treated today. I was having issues with the kiosk and I ordered 2 extra sandwiches and a small drink instead of a large by mistake. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while a guy Jasper, who I found out later was the manager, completely ignored me. He walked over to the register area to put my order up and STILL did not acknowledge me standing at the register. I had to say excuse me 3 times to get his attention and when he finally came over I let him know that I had been standing there for a while and was trying to tell him not to make the extra 2 sandwiches because I ordered it by mistake and he said " Well I'm the one here" which he wasn't, and had a bad attitude. I showed him my receipt and let him know I got confused and he said rudely" well you got 4 sandwiches". He walked to where my order was and took out the other 2 sandwiches and asked me for my credit card to refund me. He started to walk away and I let him know I ordered a small instead of a large drink and he turned his back to me and mumbled under his breath " well that's not what you were charged for". I told him never mind because his attitude was horrible. I got to my car and realized any size drink was $1.29 so I hadn't been charged incorrectly. I realized how unprofessional, rude and dismissive he was to me and decided to call and let him know how he treated me. He answered the phone and when I asked to speak to the manager he said "I am the Jasper the manager. I let him know that all drinks any size was a $1.29 and that I didn't appreciate him walking away from me a and mumbling under his breath making it seem like I was trying to get something I hadn't paid for. He rudley told my if I wanted to complain that I can complain to someone else and hung up on me. I sat there for a minute in my car and decided to go bac in and get the large drink that I wanted. I approached the counter once again and was ignored until I yelled "excuse me can I get my large drink" I was trying to tell him that I didnt appreciate him hanging up on me and he just walked away and got my drink. He placed the drink on the counter, rolled his eyes and turned his back without not acknowledging how he made me feel or apologize. He was the most unprofessional and rudest person I have ever encountered at this location. He shouldn't be working there let alone be the manager if he can't be kind. He doesn't know who I am and I could've been the CEO of the company for all he knows. Reading through the comments, there is another complaint about him. It seems like Jasper needs more training on how to be professional or he shouldn't...
Read moreTo the manager of this location please review the staff who was working the evening shift (5pm) on Sunday June 23rd 2024. They either need new jobs or more training. The young girl who took my order was sooo rude. She sounded exasperated and had an attitude of “you’re bothering me what do you want!” (Only say it like a spoiled and entitled teenager). When I pulled up to pay she was sitting down on her phone, she stood up rolled her eyes and with the same very annoying tone of voice told me my total and held her hand out. No hi or thank you’s. I’m actually pretty sure she wanted to flip me off. I didn’t say a word because the words I wanted to say were not nice. Cue the next window girl. She also seemed like she’d rather be anywhere but there. However she was at least slightly nicer. Even if it was fake (which I’m sure it was). I thanked her for at least being nicer than her coworker, she just said yeah ok. Lovely attitude 😒 Again, not sure what I expected but I guess that’s better than F you right? To top it off I’m pretty sure that my iced tea was dish water. It was like a grey brown. I didn’t even try it I just threw it away in the parking lot trash. And our fries were cold and both my cheeseburger and my son’s hamburger looked like they’d been in the warmer for awhile. Bottom line is if your staff doesn’t want to work then maybe help them out with that and remove them from your staff. It’s frustrating to spend nearly $20 on cruddy food to then receive terrible service. Let’s maybe try to bring back some level of customer service if you’re going to be continuously increasing your...
