Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Osage Beach

On our Saturday 12/14 visit we encountered numerous problems. First we were told there were no booths only to find there were some not being used. After we were seated the waitress, an older lady named Beth, did not seem interested in serving us. However she did manage to have a conversation of at least 5 minutes with the table behind us about shopping while we were waiting to give our order. The table did not initiate the conversation, it was started by the waitress. She gave that table her complete attention. After that long discussion she finally came over to take our order. While taking our order I observed she was constantly looking around, clearly less interested in taking our order than the things around her. When we finally received our order it was obvious it had sat in the window for awhile since my fries were cold on top but hot farther down. Same with my lady friend’s meal. She also took forever to remove our empty plates. Then when we were close to being done my lady friend asked for a to go box and bag. The bag the waitress brought was soaked! How she could not have seen the wetness is beyond me! When we were ready to pay we once again encountered the same problem we had while waiting to place our order. Our waitress again initiated a lengthy conversation of at least 5 minutes with another nearby table while my lady friend was trying to attract her attention to get our check. You can check your surveillance to verify everything I am saying. At the end of our meal we noticed that she did not offer us to go drinks like she did to everyone around us. We were drinking soda, so there was no reason we were not asked. All during the meal we noticed she paid far more attention to the tables around us than to us. She said the right words but from her body language and inflection it was obvious she did not want to be waiting on us. Could it possibly have been we are an interracial couple while everyone around us was Caucasian??? Also during the meal I found it curious that our waitress removed the Zoosk pay terminal from our table. This was not done from any table around us, so was she doing this knowing we would be leaving her a bad rating after paying? This also kept me from receiving credit for our frequent customer rewards. It is obvious this will be the only time we visit this...

Update: GREAT SERVICE! Quick, Clean, & Delicious Food! Love the Chicken Enchilada Soup & the Loaded Baked Potato Soup. Must've changed Management! GREAT SERVICE, AGAIN! Love the Combo Fajitas and the Soup, Salad, and Chips! Very Clean & Delicious food! Love the chips & skillet queso, too! RECOMMEND TRYING! UPDATED *Had GREAT SERVICE this time & multiple people making sure that we had EVERYTHING NEEDED QUICKLY! Our waiter was extremely busy & did a GREAT JOB! NEVER ran out of Anything! My husband had the quesidillas and I had the All You Can Eat Soup, Salad, & Chips and Salsa. Maybe Management has changed! WHATEVER it is KEEP IT UP!!! Very Clean Restaurant & EXCELLENT SERVICE! RECOMMEND IF the SERVICE CONTINUES to be this good!

Worst Chili's I've ever been to! I've been to Chili's all over the country and the service at this location was awful! It took forever to get waited on to begin with and then our waiter kept making excuses for his horrible service. We could hear him telling everyone else how sorry he was, thinking that would make up for it, then just being an awful waiter afterwards. Our waiter had dark hair in a ponytail and never brought any refills, we could see him hiding out in the back and when I asked for clean spoons for my soup, he acted like I needed to use the same one and when I told him that you normally get a clean spoon for different soups, he grimaced, rolled his eyes and started to argue with me before stopping and walking off. I didn't even notice, at first, but everyone in my party was irritated because they couldn't believe how horrible he was. Anyway, I Recommend going someplace else and definitely not...

I have always loved Chili's Grill. However, this was my first time at the one in Osage Beach. Took my good friend there after the movies. There was 4 people sitting at the bar and 3 booths, so we sat down figuring it was a slow day! There were 3 wait staff we observed. The "manager" brought us our soft drinks and we waited and waited for the server to take our order. Then a lady came in and went to the bar to order, which he waited on. After about 15 minutes the serve came to the booth next to ours to see if they needed anything, and spent some time talking with them. Both the waiter and the guy are Africian American. He walked away. My friend and I were talking and asked each other if we had ordered and not remembered. Well the lady sitting in the booth next to us heard our conversation so the next time the waiter came over to them she told him he needed to take our order. He came over and I jokingly said 'did you forget us'. He replied no he has been busy. I looked around and saw a few people but I didn't say anything. We ordered our food and it arrived quickly. He checked on us twice each time calling us 'my girls'. I still didn't say anything about that comment, which we both felt offended by it. He took our empty plates and asked if we would like refills to go. We both said yes please. We waited another 20 minutes and no refills. So we left and I wanted to ask for my tip back but I didn't.
