Luxury Nails and Spa Osage Beach — Local services in Osage Beach

Definitely an interesting nail salon visit. Just moved to the area and this was the first place I went to. Only 2 people were working. First I called to see if I could get an appointment and they informed me that they do not do appointments. So I just walked in. At one point the lady was working on 4 customers at the same time. Bouncing back and forth between us all. Now I can give props to the multitasking, but when I go to a nail salon, I want my nail tech to focus on me. This is supposed to be my time of pampering and relaxation. I had my previous dip nails removed and just had a gel polish done on my natural nails. $65. As I sat there getting my manicure, on and off of course, I noticed how filthy the place was. Just dirty and run down looking. Tools looked like they had never been cleaned. Worried me a bit to be honest. Anyway when all was done, the manicure itself turned out decent. A couple nails were filed crooked. You can just tell it was a rushed job. If you only have 2 people working in the salon, TAKE APPOINTMENTS! You guys are setting yourselves up for failure. Also PLEASE CLEAN THE PLACE UP AND CLEAN YOUR NAIL TOOLS!!! Needless to say, I will be finding another nail salon to go to...

When I first went here it was great and the nail tech did an amazing job, but then the next time I went I felt like the job slacked. It didn’t look as great as the first time, a few of my nails were crooked and the paint didn’t cover the entire nail. Then the 3rd time I went back I told her I needed them taken off but she said it was fine. I ended up with a fungus under 2 nails! The paint also did not cover the entire nail and I could see through it so I asked for another coat of the gel and it seems to be a problem! It also seemed to be a problem each time I refuse dip and want gel. I think the dip is disgusting and it you make me bleed just by preparing my nails at the cuticle how is it ok to dip my bloody nails in that and then dip everyone else’s in there too! I went from March- May and it’s now October and my nails and cuticles have just now recovered! Each time I went it was the same tech and she was really nice however everytime it seemed the job got worse and worse. I feel like the drills are just awful for the nails and I wish they all would go back to actually filing the nails and not trying to hurry everyone through with quick, cheap processes, techniques...

I will not go back!

Visit #1 - I stopped in for an emergency manicure, and they were able to accommodate. 🙂 The only negative thing is lack of/poor communication. This was my 2nd visit, and i have the same complaint for both visits. It would just be nice if when they ask you to sign in they said something like - please sign in, it will be approximately .... instead of just making you sit there and wonder.

When I first decided to use Luxury nail spa, I read the reviews and there were concerns with appointment times not being followed. I am planning to make an appointment in 2 weeks, and will see if they keep the appointment time.

Visit #2 - Made an appointment for a friend and myself at 6 PM. We drove 40 minutes and paid the toll only to find that they totally ignored the fact that we had an appointment. They need to learn to say NO to the walk-in customers if they have appointments coming in or they should just not bother to take appointments.
