The manager here, told me that unless I have dogs, that she wouldn't give me pup cups as they are only for dogs and not for my one and two year old. I told her that I would like the whipped cream on my drink on the side, in two pup cups and she told me that she isn't able to give me whipped cream on the side, that they will only sell the contents of the cup IN the cup. Finally she did give me two pup cups but was very hateful. She took the pup cup and flung it very hard in the sink to get the extra bit of whipped cream off and when she handed it to me the pup cup was less than half full due to her aggressive flinging of the cup. She was very hateful. When I asked for a spoon she lied and told me she didn't have any. I remained persistent and finally a different employee gave me a spoon after the manager insisted three times that they did not have spoons and would only give me straws. I have NEVER been treated this badly. After speaking to corporate, I was told not only am I allowed to have a pup cup WITHOUT my dogs present, I am ALSO allowed to have complimentary whipped cream with a purchase AS WELL as get my whipped cream from my drink on the side. With all this said, there is no reason to not serve me two pup cups. Knowing this I tried to visit again. The same manager was present but a different young blonde hair genentlmen served me as she watched. The young man was also very hateful from the get go. When I asked for two pup cups he asked if I had dogs and then tried to peer into my van! He told me that the manager is right for what she did. When I told him I am allowed to have complimentary whipped cream as well as whipped cream in my drink on the side, he told me that if he gives me whipped cream he can only give it to me in one cup. I told him the amount of whipped cream that comes with my drink is much more than that of two small pup cups and I asked him why he couldn't make my life easier and spilt it between two pup cups and that way, one of my children wouldn't go without, it's less whipped cream anyway!! He told me that its not about the whipped cream but about the cup and the plastic waste!! Unfortunately, a bigger cup isn't less plastic than that of two micro cups but he knew that and just didn't want to serve me. I wasn't asking for a hand out, only the whipped cream that came with my drink to be on the side and split between two micro-cups so that I could give it to my children. Do I have to have the whipped cream served on my coffee and then beg for two small pup cups to then scoop it out of my drink and divide it between the two pup cups? Is this what Starbucks has come to? Truly this manager and employee are bent on making sure my babies do not enjoy a very small side of whipped cream and that makes me see that this is not a kid friendly business. I finally did get two pup cups, one filled only a quarter full. It's not worth giving my money to this business anymore if this is how my children and I are going to be treated. The manager went as far as to smile at me as the young man was talking very poor to me. He told me there are drinks for kids that I can buy if I want to give my kids something. My children are too young to drink out of a proper cup!!. They are still babies. They are one and two. All I wanted was to give my children the whipped cream from my own VERY expensive coffee since they refuse pup cups for kids. Still, the manager and this employee fought me. Talked down to me. I am fearful of the same people making my drink and I don't trust to come back after being treated so bad. I called corporate again and was told it should've never happened to me. As a mother, it's heartbreaking to see my children, who love visiting Starbucks with me, being denied a simple treat at all cost by this location. If I buy the drink and want my whipped cream split up between to doggie cups, I have that right. I am committed to sharing my concerns with corporate, in the hopes that this location can adopt a more compassionate and customer-centric approach. Until then, I will be taking my...
Read moreGo through the drive-thru. It's not busy. There's not many cars in the parking lot. There's no one in the Drive-Thru I ordered my drink and this girl is very short with me. She is rushing me. She isn't listening to what I'm saying. She almost put in an entirely different drink that I didn't want and then on top of that whenever I went to pay out she got the size wrong. I'm a restaurant worker personally so I do have understanding for when it's busy and stuff like that but I just don't understand why she was so rude to me and was short with me in the first place and then on top of that to get my order wrong twice and then she said that she thought that I said it was a grande when I didn't even say grande I said a large. I used the words large, medium and small so there wasn't any confusion and she went ahead and just put in what she wanted so it was just a frustrating experience. Usually it's not this bad but I guess that's with more...
Read moreI love me some Starbucks and have the gold card, valid through 2018 to prove it, so I know a good Starbucks. I travel for my job so I stop at many and this is one of the best. The ladies that work in the morning, Nancy, Mary and a couple of the older (over 30) are fast, efficient and friendly. The drive through line can be a huge bummer in the morning, but know what you want and hope that someone in front of you doesn't have a complicated order. My only complaint is for some of the younger baristas. I guess they don't know how lucky they are to work for Starbucks, because they are unfriendly, abrupt and plain old icky. And that's why I ONLY buy my coffee during the week...never on the weekend. They have a delicious expanded menu, a great patio which is always clean and cool music/free wi-fi, what else could you...
