This place claims to be open until 3am but in reality nobody on the night staff feels like working after 10pm.
I know this because I am a evening shift worker around the Lake and Taco Bell is the ONLY food place "open" late at night that constantly does this.
Just a couple examples...Even after being told to wait "25 minutes" because the "system went down." 30 minutes later...I get told "it'll be 30 more minutes" and at that rate that just wraps up the whole story...and I am extremely fed up with this evening staff nonsense. Most of the time they will deny customers because they are "understaffed" but 5 minutes later you'll see a few of the "understaffed" with drive-thru headsets on hanging out in the parking lot by their cars smoking their vapes.
I honestly don't blame the many cars that drive through Taco Bell at night [after being denied service] just go straight to Wendy's where they're treated much better and actually receive their food in decent time. I just feel bad how much business Taco Bell misses out on at night because it is very way more than you would think with this day in age.
I wouldn't recommend this store specifically and I haven't even mentioned the food as the staff does not prioritize getting your order correct at all. Even when I do receive my food (during the day time on a day off), there's always an error or something missing from my order. And then they get too busy to even help you in store to fix the mistake.
All I honestly wish is that for the staff at this location to at least care about your job, especially at night. And I understand it being the Lake of the Ozarks, you're not gonna have much around late at night for food especially during the week, but the hours posted here for Taco Bell are just a...
Read moreSome friends have told my boyfriend and I about their terrible experiences with this store. One of them just got food poisoning from this location but she is also pregnant so that may be a factor. However, my boyfriend and I get food here ALL the time and have never had these terrible experiences that the other reviews mention. I think some of the other reviews are from people who are very impatient and don't have an ounce of sympathy for the fast food workers who are trying their best with the little staff they have. I will say though, we're never there late at night, we often stop by between 6-7pm after work and never have the issues everyone else is talking about. Sometimes there's a long wait, but you can't expect a shortstaffed location to bring your food to you both quickly and with no imperfections. We are always very patient and kind with them, and I think that helps. I think the worst thing we've encountered is their freezes being on defrost or the freeze machine being down, but it's not the end of the world. They always ask if there's anything else we'd like in that case. The one manager can be rough around the edges and cold, but you would be too if there were reviews (and probably comments at the store itself) mentioning being cross-eyed. I think she is familiar enough with me/us that she is usually nice and can crack a joke at the window on occasions. Kindness goes a long way, people! Point is— be kind, be patient with fast food workers. And I guess just don't go late at night? Side note: I almost always order...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I definitely would. I have never had this bad of an experience at this store and it just blew my mind. I just went through the drive thru with my husband and they were a little busy (I understand completely that being a food server is stressful a lot of the time. Trust me I worked at Andy’s for 2 years) but this was all uncalled for. We weren’t even all the way up to the speaker yet and the lady taking orders was already rude. We couldn’t even read the board yet because we were so far back but she continuously asked us to order and got much more rude each time. Then once I said what we wanted to order she was rude and being very short. Then when we got to the window she handed me the drinks and one was filled at least an inch from the top so I handed it back and said it was full (being nice) and she jerked it back and filled it then slung my receipt and debit card at me and slammed the window. When she handed my food to me I simply asked her what her name was then she yelled have a good night and slammed the window again.
This is the Osage Beach store and this lady was in the black uniform like a manager which I hope she isn’t because that is a terrible way to be a manager and she had dark hair with a bobbed cut. I do not appreciate being disrespected when just trying to get food while I was being nice. This is all uncalled for and I hope something is...
