Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Oshkosh

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. We went on 3/16 at about 2:30. Went to order and the girl at the front said they were “out of butter” so that was fine and we picked something from the hot rack. There was only 3 things of pretzel bites and 2 full pretzels. So we got pretzel bites. The menu screen was not turned on so we pointed to the pretzel bites we wanted and stated “we will take 2 pretzel bites”. Another girl laughed that was working with the girl taking our order, and she had to be told 3 times to hand us our food. She was standing in front of the rack and when she was asked she stopped and glared at us. They continued to glare at us as we paid for the food. We were going to eat there, but felt so uncomfortable by the girls working and their lack of professionalism that we just left. The pretzel bites were ok but a bite stale and hard. Seemed like the employees there had no regard to food quality or customer service whatsoever. If the place is truly out of ingredients to make pretzels, a sign on the door stating the issue, run to the store and get more ingredients, or close till the situation is sorted. I will add that this location is also shared with a cinnabon and they would also need butter to make the cinnamon rolls. But they were currently working on getting some of those out. Overall terrible experience and I’d hate to see one of my favorite places to close but with the employees there that day, they were pushing away business. Well if you are concerned about COVID, do not enter this bakery. They do not regularly clean tables much less follow sanitation protocol, we literally had to ask for a wash rag to clean our table. The restroom is not open to public and they refused us to wash our hands and finally the instant sanitizer was hidden behind the cash register and not available to public unless requested. We ordered a basket of mix pretzel bits and cinnamon bits and they said it will be about 15 minutes, I was okay little long but I thought it would be baked fresh and HOT. We also ordered a large strawberry lemonade and two medium sodas. When we got our food it was less then WARM and tasted rubbery like reheated bread tastes like in the microwave. They also managed to mess up our order and gave us a plain lemonade instead of what We paid for the more expensive strawberry lemonade. At the time we were there our party was the only customers so I am not sure what the employees of Cinnabon Aunt Anne were doing because I saw 3 people, tables were unclean and our food obviously was reheated to Luke warm at best. I went here with my sister and girlfriend for a little treat because I don’t order there often. My sister wanted the Cinnabon center bowl and the boy at the register said they didn’t have it. She said INSTEAD, she’ll get the pepperoni pretzel bites. She was overcharged for both of those items. A second layer, he brings her the BOWL that he said they were out of. We waited another 20 min for the pepperoni bites. The girl behind the counter was recording and watching videos on her phone while rolling dough. Definitely a health code violation. I ended up asking for a refund for my sister and another girl said she could only do a full refund and not a partial… We ended up having to pay for one of the things which was fine but it was just odd. I don’t think anyone above the age of 18 was working here. Many people waiting and the workers were not really doing much.
