MI Boba — Restaurant in Oshtemo Charter Township

Awesome staff! I went in for my first ever Boba drink. The staff was super helpful helping me pick out my drink explaining what each item was. I have to highlight the fact that this shop is using an 'Auto Sealer' device this uses a plastic film tamper evident seal that not only is the most sanitary lid option but is also the most environmentally conscious option. Using the sealer lids reduces plastic use by about 60% and it also takes up about 85% less space on the shipping trucks which means fewer delivery trucks on the road. Using the 'Auto Sealer' film lid option is more expensive for the business owner but speaks volumes to this organization ethical business practices. Now, on to the treats I selected a coconut bubble tea with honey poppers. And it was AMAZING. The shop had a great selection of delicious looking cake bites, cookies, and other tasty pastries. I highly recommend stopping by and giving MI Boba a try, you will not be disappointed!!...

My favorite boba spot in the city. If you’re expecting gong cha quality, you might be let down. Idk if it’s just the quality of the tea or the ratios or quality of the flavorings but it’s just a little bit of a let down in comparison to some bigger chains I’ve tried. THAT BEING SAID. It’s the only boba spot in town I really like going to. The boba itself is cooked well, great texture and flavor. The little shop is absolutely chic but friendly and inviting. The little goodies and desserts they offer are also wonderful. Comparable to some bakeries I’ve visited. The real kicker here is the staff. Always pleasant, make great recommendations and even got to meet the owner once. She seemed really passionate about her store and craft, knew what absolutely everything tasted like, and was so so kind. Even bought one of the cool refillable boba glass cups they sell. I adore my weekly visits to MI Boba! The customization is something I’ve never really experienced in other boba shops. You can have a new drink every time you go! I recently purchased their $30 reusable glass tumbler, which gives you a $1 off of every drink you get! It’s definitely a great reward after braving the lines at Costco or a good treat to go along with your crumbl cookies! I can’t wait to go again and try a raspberry lemonade with strawberry poppers! The staff has always been incredibly helpful, the shop has always been incredibly clean, and the drinks come out in 5-10 minutes. The parking in the front is convenient.
