Duffy's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Osseo

First off the food is solid not great, but not bad either. Most of the other staff seemed very cool! That being said, the waitress that we had made 'Carla Tortelli' from the 80's t.v sitcom show 'Cheers' look like a Angel! Our waitress was very 'RUDE!' and slow, especially because it was not all that busy. While taking our tables first order it was now my turn, I asked her what kinds of ginger beer does Duffy's serve (I do not drink alcohol anymore) she looked at me with this look like I just asked her something very inappropriate and she asked me rudely, why?! it's ginger beer who cares! She then walked away without taking my order and a few minutes later returned with a can of ginger beer. She then held it up and said, is this ok? I replied Great and thank you! She then slammed it down on the table, before walking away yet again. Her service was continuously rude and slow the entire time we were there. When we got our check and I wrote her a note on it, not using any 'profanity' telling her that I did not appreciate her attitude and that it was not professional how she acted and why I'm not leaving her a tip. I usually tip between 20%-30% and I leave a short note to our server telling them what a 'Great job' they did! Servers bust their rear ends and it is a tough job, I respect that! This is only the second time I ever left a note telling the server that they did not do a good job. Now I understand that everyone has a bad day, but she should have been embarrassed, we were not regulars. This is who exactly who she is "Carla", because a few weeks later the same friends I was with decided to give Duffy's another chance. They ended up with the same waitress and instead of her apologizing to them for her attitude and service, she immediately started bashing me and my note. Telling them she saved it on her phone and saying I used profanity towards her. Of course she did not show them the picture of the note, because she is a LIAR! This is my first time ever leaving a bad post of any kind on any app like this. Usually, I just move on and forget it! But not this time... I would never recommend this...

I have been going here for years ,good food great service.I do however have a problem that keeps me from going there it is that they switched to budget ketchup!!!! God help me but if you can't get heinz the at least buy bulk and put it in little cups so we don't know.just makes think what else are they skimming on????

Sorry for the autocorrect yes I meant skimping . I never said your food and service were bad in fact I have been coming there since it was Princetons . As you put it I hope anyone reading this is focusing on the attitude both in your reply and in the fact that you are ok because YOU don't think YOU get paid for condiments that it is ok to give sub par product to SAVE YOU MONEY, Does that mean that you haven't found a sub for ice hmmm never seen a charge for that. Also Heintz does sell bulk ketchup!!!Oh wait that would mean that all those covid hands would not be touching the table bottles!!! I own 3 restaurants in the area and have checked with U S FOODS,SYSCO,PREFORMANCE,SAMS ,COSTCO,RESURANT DEPOT and more and they still stock Heintz yes maybe different styles of bottles but they ALL have the worlds #1 ketchup available. If you need help getting set up I would be more than willing to help get you in contact. I would not want to think you are not only cheap but not really telling the truth about availability .The real reason I sent you this is to make you aware that YOU ARE LOSING DOLLARS TO A COMPEDITOR because of YOUR choice to skimp AND MAYBE SOME OTHER CUSTOMERS FEEL THE SAME WAY!!! I personally would not want to loose any one over condiments. Sorry this turned into a kinda fight not at all what my intention was. LOVE YOUR PLACE AND THE FOOD and good luck.

Considering we came toward the end of a Vikings vs. Green Bay game, we were surprised there were only about a dozen people inside. This is definitely a locals place and you could feel it. We didn't feel welcome from the moment we sat down ALL due in part to our server. We were there hoping to watch some football and have a nice meal but as soon as we only ordered waters, no alochol, it all went down hill and we were no longer valued customers and treated as such. Our request was meet with a shocked "but its a Vikings game". I'm sorry, are we only allowed to be here if we drink? It then took about 10 minutes to get said waters. We ordered boneless Buffalo wings. They were spicy but the portion was small and they were overcooked and dry. We then got the reuben with fries and a large taco pizza. The meat on the reuben was ok but the bread was soggy and the fries were saltyyyy. The taco pizza was a nice size but it was so bland. All you could taste were the onions and olives on top. Taco meat had no flavor. This was our first time and our last time...
