Red's Savoy Pizza — Restaurant in Osseo

I have a hard time believing the reviews that have been given for this Red Savoy's.

The place is in the old Kopper Kettle storefront. Easy spot to find this place. Great location.

The inside is kind of a weird setup. The doors facing out to the street seem like it's the back of the house and the back entrance leading out to the parking lot is the front of the house as that's where the registers are and you order your food there to be brought to your table. OK, I'm flexible let's give this a whirl.

Then we come to the food. A large sausage, pepperoni, onion, green olive and extra cheese. Most of the time I order any pizza well done. I like the flavor of the browned cheese, however I failed to this time. The pizza came and it barely looked like it was done. It was not it wasn't melted it just looked like it didn't have enough time in the oven. It was delivered maybe 10 minutes after we ordered. Seems a little short for all the toppings, but OK I'm willing to give it a go.

The green olives they used were very overwhelming. I could taste them in my mouth the entire ride home. The onions were flavorless while the pepperoni and sausage might have been OK but again, I could barely taste these.

The new carpet smell was still very heavy and the walls were all painted except for the one up near the east doors, which were some bolted on panels for an industrial feel maybe?

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. And the place was very clean as well. There is plenty of seating and pick up options as well.

This is a hidden gem of a pizza restaurant on Main Street in Osseo. The pizza is only thin crust. The beverage options are fountain and bottled Pepsi , beer and Barefoot wine. The pizza has special Red's pizza sauce and special ingredient sausage. There are 5 varieties of salad like Side, Italian , Chicken Caesar, etc. For dessert, there is Chocolate chip cookies and seasonal pies. It is Key Lime in the summer, Pumpkin Cheesecake in the autumn and Caramel Chocolate Swirl in the Winter. There are 5 booths and about 12 to 15 indoor tables . Likewise there are 4 television monitors that are tuned to ESPN sport channels. There is 70s and 80s music playing by the bar and front counter. The prices are very reasonable. The pasta includes Chicken Bacon Mac with plentiful portions. There are lunch specials with quarter- pizza 🍕 slices of cheese, sausage, pepperoni and House Special with a beverage and/ or a side salad. There is online ordering for pickup and delivery. Also, there is a Rewards program of $5 for every $ 75 spent . Also, pull tabs are included with any size pizza with prizes from free pop, garlic cheese bread, $1 or $ 5 off , Free chicken wings, free pasta . Likewise, free garlic cheese bread coupons in local ad flyers. The pizza shop is very charitable in donations to local high school sports teams and community events....

Went to Savoys on a Friday night. Sat at the bar and the staff working did not approach me for at least 5 minutes. Thought for a second that that maybe I came after they had closed (9 PM). Asked the girl working if I had to go to the counter to order (even though they have a bar with tap beer) and she replied yes you do, wish there would have been a sign as I wouldn't have sat down if that was the case. Ordered my dinner and beer, and still had to wait 10 minutes for my beer, the only reason I got it after 10 minutes of waiting is due to asking "Can I get my beer please". I literally had to ask for my beer I paid for. The service was absolutely horrible and the staff seemed as I inconvenienced them in the worst way possible. Worst customer service I received in my life. The employees working were rude and I will never return. I am a resident in Osseo and will not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. The management and owner need to review how their business is run as this place will not survive if this is the standard of service they provide. This is not the first time I have experienced this type of service from this place. I had visited this restaurant on the first few days they had opened and figured I would try it again, completely regret...
