I was skeptical at first because it kinda sounds like one of those cheap chains that serve frozen pizza slices and some nachos or a hot dog.
It was not. It is a traditional Chicago-style pizza place that serves homemade pizza and other Italian staples such as sandwiches and gyros.
My first interaction here was for a slice of their double dough pizza. It was fantastic, and I got hooked right there. We now order the thin, the double dough, and the deeper dish they have at different times. All are phenomenal.
One hint with the thin crust is to get it well done. If you order their thin crust and ask for it well done, it is perfection. You would be hard-pressed to find anywhere in the Oswego-Yorkville area with pizza on this level (at its best).

I'm passing through town and needed a quick bite. I felt like pizza would hit the spot and saw this place.
Pluses.. Very generous with the sauce and the cheese.
Cons...the crust. Pretty flavorless and completely droopy. It had this light looking feel like remixed saltine crackers. I'd swear on my very last bite it seemed like there was a hint of cigar smoke in the flavor, But I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt. I normally never get heartburned from any kind of food and had a mild case immediately after these slices.

Read moreI am trying to conceptualize how you mess up pizza, its really not that many ingredients and with pizza pretty much being in mass production really doesn't require any huge effort to make and yet the paradox remains. This is probably the worst pizza I have ever had it tasted like I reheated in in a microwave on high for about 30 min. Their staff either does not listen or generally does not care.
