Arandas Tacos — Restaurant in Oswego Township

I really wanted to give this place a chance. I stopped by Jewel next door and needed to grab dinner. I was hesitant at first to go here, but since it's almost next door to Jewel - the convenience aspect won me over.

Service was friendly and food was ready when I entered. Got home - opened the foil and was unpleasantly surprised, my husband inital reaction was, " I'm not eating that! " (Refering to the white corn tortillas) We both said - it's fine let's give it a chance.

Unfortunately - the tortillas were stale, almost like they had barely been heated up, we ordered chorizo, pastor, & asada and even though these are all different meats, it seemed like they used yesterday - or even the day before's meat. There were large and small chunks that were almost rock hard, at one point I had to take a piece out to confirm I wasn't eating a small rock. Only gave 2 salsas for 10 tacos, limes were cut paper thin so had to grab a few out of our fridge.

I hope this review helps them provide better quality for future customers. This will unfortunately be the first & last time we will order from here. The woman who processed my payment was very polite and friendly though - so I'm sure service is just fine. Just have to work on...

First time I visited here me and my son stood there for about 15-20mins to place a to go order and did not get acknowledged once!! No one even said "I'll be right with you". We left the house early to catch a taco and than catch a movie. they took so long we didn't get to order and walked out! Instead went to a place in the same strip to eat and got our food and made it to the movie. Went back last night my husband wanted some tacos. Typically we go to places in Aurora for authentic mexican food but this place is closer to our home so we thought we'd give it another try. 1. you pay more and get less. 2. the food is completely flavorless! 3. Food poisening! We will never go back! I will def continue to make the drive to the mom and pop shops we frequent in aurora without any issues what so ever. Awful...

Ordered a pastor burrito and a chorizo quesadila. They gave me 2 chorizo tacos instead. I returned the food and told them I ordered a quesadilla not 2 tacos. The kid smirked at me and said and well these are 2 tacos and handed me the bag. I gave it back to him and said I'd like my quesadilla thank you. I got my food a minute later. It was the tacos with a pinch of cheese put in them and tossed on the grill for 30 seconds. I've ordered the quesadilla before it isn't a ball of meat in a little tortilla. It is flat and has more queso in it as in QUESAdilla. When I ate the burrito it had a chunck of fat in it the size of a golfball. Not as good as it used to be, I guess the decrease in quality of the food matches the staff's...
