Called for a pick up order for a skillet and specifically asked for 4 eggs, crispy hash, bacon and onions. She sounded confused on the phone with me and what I ordered and instead of reading it back or double checking she just said okay good and hung up. and was willing to pay the extra for the 2 extra eggs because they come with two. When I went inside one of the waitresses welcomed us and was super nice unfortunately she wasnât the one who helped us because the lady who checked us out was nice at first but I checked the food and there were only two eggs on it. When I told her she tried arguing with me saying the skillet comes with two and I stated that I did not mind paying for it. Then she specifically told us what comes on a skillet â2 eggs, cheese, and hash brownsâ then I lifted the eggs up and there wasnât even cheese in it. Instead of apologizing and fixing it. The lady was trying to argue and walked away with a attitude. So we ended up waiting another 5 minutes which is fine to get what I ordered. They never apologized for messing up the order. Also ended up charging us $5 more than the original price they had for us and I wouldnât have minded paying that from the beginning but They didnât even fix the whole order just put one over easy egg on top and an over hard egg on top of the order they messed. So my hash browns were not crispy and two eggs were cold. The...
Read moreI myself, my partner, and daughter all decided to check out The New Brite Spot. During this endeavor, I encountered multiple problems as well as my partner and daughter. Firstly, I was served Mozz sticks, no worries there. Marinara was meaty but no worries. Then I received my order. I asked for a small order of hash browns. Diced ham, diced onions, and add cheddar cheese. What I got was a large heaping plate that was oily. Undercooked hashbrowns. And all the cheese was unmelted slices on top. I ask my partner and daughter how is yours. Daughter got a skillet that was an undercooked oily mess as well. And my partner asked for a French Dip thing and had no cheese at all. Asked for cheese and then asked for the chef to warm up the cheese and food. They microwaved it. Then, to our dismay, when I questioned it the waitress proceeded to interrogate my partner trying to convince them nothing is wrong with the food. As she described the meat to be gamey, as well as rubbery and the bread hard. I was furious. Plates don't come out hot exuding heat like that. They were completely comfortable with serving us microwaved...
Read morePam provided awesome service today! The food is very good here since they renovated last year. I have been very impressed not only with the interior upgrades but also the quality of food in general.
The seniors specials are excellent portions and the prices are great. My Mom likes the 1 pork chop meal for $10.99 which comes with a large soup, vegetable, potatoes and a small dessert. Great value.
Pam was so sweet and packed up our to-go order with care. She put a small tapioca pudding in a container for my mom to go with her meal. Pam was very kind to us and I hope we see her again next time we dine here.
My favorite is the breakfast omelette $10.75. The vegetarian omelette is a good portion with hash browns. I did not want toast but it comes with it.
My mother also enjoys the senior meatloaf which comes with the same sides as the pork chop.
The dining area is a cool gray decor and very clean and modern. They really fixed this place up very well. Overall wholesome food and a great place for a meal, with nice people running...
