I go to Burger King once or twice a week. I use the Upside app you get a percentage off. I have 45 minutes for lunch and I get the number five every time I go. If I had to prove it, I guess I could get the information from Upside to show all of my receipts. I say this because the manager today got into an argument with me regarding my order. I placed my order and she said move to the next window. It will be $10.63. So I moved to the next window and when I got there, she said it would be five dollars and some change. I said oh no it’s $10.63. I get the same thing every time I come and she said no you scoffed at me , and said that was too much money . I said I didn’t scoff at you nor did I change my order and she closed the window and went and talked to somebody else inside and they both came to the window and said no it was you you scoffed and changed your order… I said I would like the number five and repeated what I wanted And she opted to continue to argue with me. I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager. I have been in business for very long time and never in my wildest dreams, would I speak to a client the way that she spoke to me, nor would I dehumanize somebody by going to get somebody else to back me up to speak disrespectfully in unison . I say to Burger King you need to train your personnel, especially your managerial personnel how to show respect to your customers. I now know why Burger King’s line is so short and McDonald’s line is so long, I will opt to wait in line from this day forward.
I believe her name was Kelly and she claimed she was a manager whether that’s true or not remains to be seen. Read moreI am beyond angry!! I come in all the time and always see the same young lady at the window. She always makes me smile, has the best attitude and provides me with good food. Today when I saw her I knew something was wrong. She could barely speak. Long story short her manager had her in such a state that when she brought out our food I was already out of my car to offer her a mom hug. The manager was rude to her, screwed up my order made her redo it when it was right the first time, practically threw the food at me. If the young lady hadn't asked me not to I would have gone full blown Momma bear "karen" on the *itch. That is NOT how you manage a team! That sweet, polite, cheerful smiling young lady, (whom I don't even know her name and has a second "momma" in me )was crushed. That manager needs some hard core retraining and is lucky I'm in control of my temper. If it weren't for that young lady, I'd never return but you can bet your a$$ I'll be back if only to check on her.
