I have ordered from them five times. The order has always been correct. The service has always been good. The people I've spoken with have always been friendly. I never met this "super b*tch" that others refer to. Their fried rice is the best I've had. Don't believe the reviews that are simple complaints. I've worked the food service industry for a decade and have two culinary certifications. The average food service customer isn't as smart as they think. Most tend to be quick to complain over tiny tiny things. Like the review complaining about the egg roll that came with his meal. The complaint was simply based on receiving an egg roll he didn't order. They are normal people working at this restaurant not the finest china has to offer. Get off your pedestal and come down to earth. My only complaint is that they stopped delivering as late as they used to. Try the Pork Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, and the Poo Poo Platter. Now if you do get this crazy jerk woman I suggest cussing her out if she's rude. Then call back and try to order again. If she does it again then cuss her out again, repeat until she stops. I for one would go all the way there to demand respect...
Read moreI've ordered delivery from this place twice thinking the akward experience may have just been a one off the first time when the tip was already given on the online order form through my card but the delivery guy was insistent on a cash tip as well after struggling through an intense language barrier explaining a tip was already given with the purchase of the food. The second time was not much better. After placing an order online totaling $17 and change, I presented him with a $20 and told him to keep the change. He looked at the receipt and quoted me a price of $25.xx. Same delivery driver, and attempting to explain what the order was when entered online (including delivery fee and tax) my total was less than $18. He pointed at the receipt again in which I explained what the order was online and the total given, I handed him the food back because I wasn't paying $25 for a one person meal. He called someone and after an intense conversation (based on tone of voice and yelling) he gave me the bag back and turned around and walked away, said nothing else.
Food is moderately okay, nothing excellent but will do when hungry. Will not order...
Read moreWe found out about China One when the pandemic lock downs hit. We tried Door Dash for the first time, and being night owls, it was the only thing open one night. I have been impressed from the start. We now drive the extra distance to get their food. I like Shrimp Fried Rice. They use the bigger shrimp which always appear fresh. I'm told they hand peel all shrimp which adds to the flavor. They miss the good quality of seafood they got in China. The owners recently moved here and are dedicated to putting out good, authentic food.
If you had a bad dish, It was perhaps a bad day, or one off. The fried rice dishes, crab rangoon, and egg drop soup are all good. But their chicken and shrimp fried rice is absolutely my favorite for quantity and flavor! I also enjoy talking with the young man who works there. I once came and saw the entire family having dinner. They still stopped and fixed my food. I was grateful and it was a joy watching the young and old of the family all seated together eating as a traditional family. The foods looked scrumptious! This place is definitely worth a try to see...
