Jason's Deli — Restaurant in Overland Park

My office placed a group delivery order at 10:00 am and the order confirmation stated it would be delivered at 11:30 am. I called the store at 11:40 am and was told that the driver had already left and was on his way. Our order did not arrive until 12:15 pm - 45 minutes after the estimated delivery time and 2 hours 15 minutes after the order was placed. According to Google Maps, Jason's Deli is only 9 miles from our office and the drive should have taken a maximum of 20 minutes if the driver took only back roads instead of the highway and hit every single red light on his way. Not only was our order significantly delayed, but the food quality was sub-par. I personally ordered the light portion taco salad with chicken chili. The chili was room temperature(food safety issue) and my salad was 75% chips 15% cheese and only about 10% lettuce. Two of the fruit cups we ordered popped open and spilled all over the bottom of the bag and other people's orders that should have been served hot were, at best, lukewarm. Our order total was over $50, mine was $20 (including tip). For a $20 lunch, I honestly expected more. This was the first, and last time I order from/eat at Jason's...

What a disappointing, nasty experience. I've been stopping in this location for about a year. The entire time, their custard machine....well, something is wrong with it. The product comes out watery, crystallized and yellow. I complained to a manager last summer, even wrote Corporate, and it's still the same. Disgusting.

Tonight I had the salad bar. It was not fresh at all. Cucumbers were translucent as were the radishes. There were two pieces of intact cauliflower left and I took them, then I stood there and watched the manager take all the tiny little broken, old pieces at the bottom of the container and shovel them over fresh cauliflower. I wonder how many times he's done this. I wanted to say something, but if he didn't know this was disgusting and wrong, my saying anything won't change a thing.

It is evident at this location that management just doesn't care. At all. Oh, and the station they selected for music was heavy metal. When the majority of your customers are over 50, not appropriate. I will not be coming back to this location ever again. Olathe location is A+++++ and...

I went in for the first time a little bit ago. The store was tidy and clean. I was looking for a good soup on Google and stumbled upon their menu. On arrival, I was greeted promptly, and the gentleman at the counter took my order. I asked for the chicken noodle soup and some bread, and he recommended their toasted foccacia. I accepted the advice and asked for the order to be to-go. Since it was my first time, he told me about their menu and delivery options and gave me a paper menu to take home. The food came out quick, and I headed to my car to go home and eat it. I took the food out of the bag to inspect it, as I hadn't been here before, and I popped the bowl open, just to taste the soup. The foccacia was literally perfectly toasted, and the soup was hot and flavorful. The egg noodles are great, and the chicken is cut thick and seasoned well. Next thing I know, I'm sitting in the parking lot, soup almost gone, and leaving this review.

I will be back for that all-day...
