The fried shrimp that I wanted to order looked really old today. When I asked Peter who worked there if they would be willing to make a fresh batch, and I’d be happy to wait, he refused. When I expressed my concern about the appearance of the food and asked if I could at least taste one to see if it tasted fresh, he refused to let me do that as well and replied, “we don’t give out samples”. This was a bit offensive as all I was trying to do was order fresh food, especially when they charge an additional up-charge per shrimp entree. This did not seem to matter to Peter who I later found out was the GM. I only found this out after I asked the young man who rang me up for my son’s food, for the contact information for the GM due to the poor service I had experienced.
When I found out that Peter was the GM, I asked for the corporate contact information to share my experience; however, they refused to give me the contact number and told me to look online myself, which added further insult to injury.
The final thing that made matters worse is as I was finishing up purchasing the food for my son, despite the bad service around the meal that I wanted, Peter comes up at the very end of my purchase and after overhearing me ask for this information, he asks if I want him to make the fresh shrimp. I politely responded no as that was what I was asking for in the very beginning and he told me no. Peter, the store GM only cared when he knew that I was going to be contacting corporate about my poor experience. It’s rather unfortunate. Read moreThey were on their way to five stars but they didn't listen to what I was saying because they confused me talking to my child with an answer so when I went up and said hey we ordered this they just made an excuse for how I was wrong when I absolutely know that I ordered the right thing now they free of charge gave us that thing but challenging me by not accepting their mistake was off putting and poor customer service and they made up something that they said they said and said I responded a certain way and I know what I said and never said it. It's unfortunate because I was willing to give five stars but because they put too many things in boxes it made it really hard to work with a two and a half and seven year old and we didn't even get all the teriyaki sauces we needed and we're just missing a few things which is a bummer because this stuff never happens. Read moreThis location is decent overall but there's a very big difference in the amount of food you get depending on the person behind the counter. This last time I went in and Alexis was behind the counter. She scooped the items getting a very strict one ladle worth and that was it. She didn't try to get it really full or get a few extra pieces after like many others will do. So I ended up feeling that I didn't get the amount that I should be getting. They should always really try to fill the ladle or after they scoop the ladle go back for a couple extra pieces so that you get the full amount that you're supposed to. I dislike going here because I never know how much I'm going to get even though the prices keep going up. With any restaurant consistency is key. And not getting a consistent amount leaves people...
