I do not recommend this place. They are unethical and disrespectful to customers when screwing up orders. I was on a road trip and decided to Google Map a Pho restaurant in KC with the highest ratings and that's how I found this restaurant. While ordering the Vietnamese Beef Stew I asked cashier if it came with bread. He said it comes with Bun Bo Hue "thick noodles" but I could substitute it for bread or pho rice noodles. I told him thick noodles are perfect. After receiving my noodles, I tasted the broth which seem good and beefy. I then added all the fresh veggies and I dug into bowl only to find out it was Pho noodles.. I brought back to the front desk and told them the order was wrong. The cashier acknowledged the mistake, took it back, and said they'll fix it. When they brought me a new bowl I tasted it and notice it seemed water down and not as flavourful as the bowl before. I suspected they must had risned the meats and put it back in a new bowl and that's why it tasted water down. All that just to save money but they don't realize I'm a customer with good taste buds. The noodles for the new bowl had the spring roll noodles which I found odd cause usually it's the ticker version. The new noodles were soggy and broken up. When I dug in for a peace of meat I found regular Pho noodles all over my meats!!! (See pictures) They forgot my orders of 6 eggrolls and I had to mention it to them. I found it odd that they don't bring out a glass of water and instead charged me .50 for 5 bottles of waters. (Covid?) Cashier seemed nice but clueless.
Pho: Decent 6.75. I would not recommend it. Little sweet, color of broth was whiteish, not beefy. Bo Kho: Original bowl 8.5 was beefy and flavorful. Replacement bowl 5.5.. Eggrolls: 7. Skinny, not enough fillings but the fillings were good. Mung bean cake: 9 best thing I order. Never going back. Waste of time and money.

We were looking for some excellent dine-in experience with authentic Pho and this place (due to its reviews) was on our list to visit. Highlights why one star was provided: The place was empty during our dinner time visit and not much assistance was provided from the beginning when we arrived. The cashier is either unhappy with her job or just bad at her job. Maybe some new job career path should be taken for You? Please update your food court listing on google maps, since this is not a dine-in or restaurant place to eat, it is just a generic food court / cafeteria setup with high premium prices of dishes for no reason to begin with. The Health Department has to be involved since vegetables/herbs are rotting and utensils are left in rotted vegetables within. Premium price for water beef pho: Beef Pho was not rich at all in flavor and it felt like it was based mostly in water. The Noodles were stuck together (from frozen?). The beef slices were fine and were the only edible part in the 'pho'. The high price for this 'pho' felt like a joke afterwards. Shame to the people here who gave them 5-star reviews since this place is beyond subpar and has major health department violations.
Do I have to drive to Springfield Missouri to get some proper rich-in flavor Pho with beef tripe?! I guess so. Good luck to...
Read moreThe Pho and Bo Bun Hue are one of the more flavorful in the KC Metro area. I didn't need to add any more sauces/seasoning to it, just some herbs and greens. The ordering of the food is more akin to Chipotle where you order and pay first then find a table. Ordering of the food was easy as we were waiting in line the menu and pictures of the food are one the wall. It's kind of hard to gauge a tip at the register since the customer has to pick up their own food (notified by a numbered buzzer they hand you after ordering) and put all their used dishes at a counter once their done eating. I did notice some unoccupied booths had bones and noodles under the table, so I'm not sure how often they're cleaning and sanitizing after each guest is done and leaves. Other than that, the owners are very welcoming, food's good (nothing really wowed us except the meat patties on the Bun Cuon), prices are reasonable. It was our first time there after reading positive reviews, and we'll most likely return again when our Pho craves need fulfillment and now know what to expect.
