Yummy Chinese — Restaurant in Overland Park

Today was my first experience at Yummy Chinese Resturaunt. I did takeout. My order consisted of Hot and Sour Soup, Beef/Vegetable Lo-Mein, and the Chicken on a Stick (Popular in prior reviews) I agree with the majority of reviews that benefited Yummy Chinese. You really get good portions and GREAT price! My food was hot and delicious!(Even getting home) It is a small dining area for seating. When I was there they did have a few people eating there. Right after they left, they were really great about being tidy and cleanliness! Also, I believe I got lucky. They included with my lo-main some fried rice. This is my go to Chinese place now for ordering take out. It's such a step up, my wife and I have been getting desperate for a good Chinese place after trying about 30 or so in the area and not really coming away very impressed with anything.

We love Chinese food so we kept trying and this one has made us both happy campers. One of the few restaurants that is still a good value, the appetizer platter for two is great, mapo tofu, spicy noodles, the egg drop soup, the pork ribs, human pork, and even the ol general tso's are all good. They also will put the sauce separate when you order fried food so it's not all soggy by the time you get it.

Give me a spicy level option is the only thing I'd like my food a bit spicier, other than that...

We ordered our food at 8:15. It is now 9:50, and they closed 20 mins ago. We were originally told it would be 25 minutes. After 35 minutes We called back to confirm they had our address and they confirmed. Once it got closed to 9:30 we got nervous. Now we are just mad.

They did not deliver our food, and did not even bother to call to say they weren’t delivering it. Oh they accepted our money though. What a horrible company and horrible service. I’ve never had a company just simply Do a no-call no-show for a food delivery. Never ordering from here again, there’s other good local businesses who at least respect their customers enough to call them if they can’t...
