I dealt with Pizza Hut on 151st and Metcalf in the shopping square. I've dealt with them over and over. And almost every time they either overcook the pizza or brought the wrong Pizza. The United States Chapman's office for veterans in need and families. Has had nothing but the worst experience with this Pizza Hut and it's been an ongoing problem. The corporate office gave us a $30 credit and when we decided to take another chance and see if we could get the right pizza or it wasn't burnt. One of the assistant chaplains went into order and said we have a $30 credit. The person working the counter punched the number in and full face lied to the chaplain's face. I would recommend if you can to go to another Pizza Hut location to order your food. Or right around the corner from this Pizza Hut is a Papa John's. And we have actually always had a good experience with Papa John's. I just hope nobody out there experiences what we have experienced with this Pizza Hut franchise. Also too I realize there was some five-star ratings for this franchise store. That has to be employees trying to cover for this store. Because everybody that I know and I know a lot of people has said it's the worst Pizza Hut in Kansas City. So these five stars and good comments come on people don't blow smoke up people's backsides. Read moreI ordered pizza last night from Pizza Hut and unfortunately we had trouble with the DoorDash driver. I know Pizza Hut doesn’t usually use DoorDash, they have their own driver, but since one wasn’t available, they sent it through DoorDash. Long story short, after an hour of waiting, I come to find that the DoorDash driver got lost and through many phone calls back and forth (and a bit of a language barrier) trying to navigate him to my place, I gave up as he was miles away going in the wrong direction. So I never got my pizza. I called Pizza Hut and explained the whole situation and they were nothing but understanding and super apologetic. She offered to make me a fresh order that I could come pick up, and when I got there she gave me my order free of charge. Let it be known that I was happy to pay for the pizza I was getting, I just didn’t want to pay for the one that I didn’t get, but she said “no ma’am you’re all good, we are very sorry this happened” and was so sweet and so understanding and really went above and beyond to take care of me and the appreciation I have of that is out of this world. Read moreWonderful customer service!! Uber Eats doesn’t show you the itemized pricing when they have you place a delivery order. When I clicked on Place Order, it gave me a price for a medium pizza that I know couldn’t be correct because I still had a $12.01 credit on a gift card. I immediately cancelled the order. I called Uber support and they said I would be charged $23.43 because I canceled. They said they called the merchant and they said they already made the pizza. I knew that couldn’t be possible because i immediately canceled the order. They took all my information and said a supervisor would call me. I had 4 back and forth conversations with Uber Eats and finally they responded to the pressure. I called Pizza Hut and the manager, Mary said they never received a call around 3:05 pm and she was there. What Pizza Hut did was refunded me the “cancelled fee” of $23.43 and gave me a pizza free for all my trouble. Now that’s customer service!!!! Uber Eats should learn from them.
