Really really cute place!! Loved the decor and the cute seats and set up. Although it did lack a lot of professionalism. I do understand this is a new restaurant and they are all still a bit new to the menu and such. I did notice that they were very kind but they did come off as very overbearing. We were sat and asked if we had been to a Sickies before by the host. We had expressed that we had been one other time and they assumed we knew exactly what we wanted in that moment. While the host was still at our table a server came up and asked the same question which isn’t the biggest deal but we felt a bit like we were being hovered over. It was very overbearing to people who had only been there once and had no idea what was really in the menu. But if you do enjoy that energy it might not bother you. While we had been sitting for a short period of time, she had came up 3 times asking if we were ready which did feel a bit rushed. Once we were ready we ordered and she repeated the order back and everything was correct. Although this is where we noticed a few things that didn’t sit right. They were SEVERELY overstaffed for the time of day it was and noticed quite a few servers and such just standing around loudly conversing. There was maybe 10 people in the facility to eat so it felt very crowded for being a Tuesday at 3:30. I have worked in the service industry for about 3 1/2 years and just was a bit ticked off with what seemed to be laziness. We got our food the food was amazing but I ordered fries with a seasoning which was confirmed back to me after ordering and there was no seasoning. We later found out that she had rang in plain on my fries when she had repeated back they were not. Again this is not to bash on this location or these people as a whole just want to share my experience and maybe shed light on the lack of work being done with that many people in the building. The manager did at one point come and ask us how things were going which I thought was very cool you don’t always get that. But maybe he could have also brought up to his staff things about them just sitting around. Maybe have some side work they could be doing. Possibly making the floor just a little less slick. Overall I will be going back because it is understandable that they did just open and things maybe...

50 burgers, 50 beers is the mantra and their menu will have your mouthwatering browse the range of burgers! They do offer other food choices like battered fish, chicken sandwiches, salads and not to mention 25 different chicken wing flavors! Don't goto a burger spot without first trying a burger though!
We had a bit of wait for party of two, entertained ourselves with the decor that ties into their origin story of a garage gathering over working on cars, motorcycles and grilling!
Our dining experience left me highly impressed! Not only was our waitress, Duckie (Ducky) personable, friendly and attentive but when I questioned how my burger matched its description, we got a visit from Daryn, on of the managers. Completely unwarranted but I appreciated the conveyance of how serious they want to deliver quality meals and service for your bucks! It's a fun vibe, music is a bit too loud in conjunction with other patrons trying to hold their own conversations, plenty of TVs to watch whatever you want, and plenty of friendly servers passing by!
We had the onion ring tower - perfectly crisp rings, not too much flavor until you dip into the paired ranch & bbq sauce provided.
I ordered one of 1/2 lb Signature KOBE burgers - Black & Bleu, because I lovvvvvve blue cheese crumbles on anything! The bourbon glazed bacon was so good I was glad the pieces hung off the bun for me to enjoy! All of the flavors included meshed well including the spicy mayo! Nothing was over powering or lacking! Fries to order with their Rusty Bucket seasoning, a bit sweet n tangy as described to me... so and added flavor party along with my burger! Now who doesn't want drinks that combine dessert and liquor! I completely enjoyed the my 22oz Peanut Butter Cup SHAKE!!! Yes it had plenty of PB cups but it also had plenty of PB whiskey and Irish crème..scrumptiously gratifying!!!
My mom selected the Garage from the Classics. She said it was delicious, juicy with no added sauce. Strawberry lemonade was a balanced choice too!

Good to see this location still excels in Customer Service! Our server, Brent, was super friendly despite being very busy. He managed his work load effortlessly and made us feel like valued guests- he didn’t rush us and made sure to check in on us. He was a great example of being busy and still providing solid service.
The manager, Cail Evans stopped by our table to ask how things were going and he was genuinely interested in what we had to say. I understand managers typically ‘check on’ tables but it felt like Cail actually cared about our options.
The food was good. One of our burgers was overdone. Brent and Cail made it right- no questions asked. Issues are going to happen, the sign of solid customer care is how it is managed.
We even had a previous server come up and say hi! Josiah remembered us and our previous orders. It truly felt like a Cheers moment “where everyone knows your name”.
This Sickies location should be a flagship example of happy associates, awesome customer service, and good food resulting in a great dining experience.
Thank you!!
The greeter, Rachel, made us feel welcome the minute we walked through the door. Our server, Kayla, was absolutely delightful! She answered all our questions regarding the menu. We had a very good dinner. I ordered a plain Kobe burger on lettuce med rare but it came out med well but I didn’t send it back because we came an hour before closing on St. Patrick’s Day so I extended some grace?? It still tasted good. All my previous selections have been excellent so I will come back and try again! Sickies is a fun place where you can get just about anything you are craving at a reasonable price. The BEST part is the people! I have NEVER had a bad server at our location- 95th & Metcalf in Overland Park, KS. The manager/ hiring staff does a great job of finding and retaining talented &...
