ETA: We ended up driving to Mission, which was open — but even with only four cars ahead of us, we waited over 20 minutes just for sodas. We decided to give this location another try the next day, and it was an even bigger mess.
We ordered very basic items: two medium and one small Dirty Dr Pepper with vanilla, and one additional drink (can’t remember which). The employee asked if we were members of the rewards program. We gave our phone number and he asked if we wanted to redeem our rewards. We said yes. After about 5–7 minutes of him trying to figure it out, I suggested he scan my QR code instead. He told us the iPads freeze every time they try to scan one. So I said no problem — we can pay and redeem at the window like we’ve done at other locations. Easy, right? Apparently not.
We get to the window, and the employee hands us our drinks and says “have a nice day.” We let him know that we hadn’t paid yet and needed to redeem our points. He looked at the pay screen for what felt like three minutes, like it was the most confusing thing in the world. Then he told us we weren’t allowed to redeem our rewards because they didn’t cover a full drink. Anyone who comes here or works here knows that’s not true. You can redeem any amount — even 50 cents — and it applies as a discount. We do it all the time at other locations.
He goes to get a manager, who looked equally confused. I literally had to explain to her how to redeem the rewards — which is crazy, considering I’ve never worked here a day in my life. She still couldn’t get it to work. She ended up giving us a completely free drink — the most expensive one — when we only had a little shy of $2 in rewards. I even told her not to worry about it and that we could redeem another time, but clearly that wasn’t the plan because the receipt showed she removed an entire drink.
While I appreciated the gesture, the entire issue could have been avoided with proper employee training — and the line wouldn’t have been held up an additional 15 minutes for something so simple.
To top it off, the drinks tasted watered down and nothing like the quality we consistently receive from other Swig locations. Unfortunately, after two bad visits in a row, we won’t be returning to this one.
Drove all the way to this location and arrived at 7:05 PM. Their listed hours online say they’re open until 10 PM, yet the drive-thru sign said “Sorry, we’re closed.” Tried calling, but after a long automated system that pushed me to their website, I finally got an option to speak to someone — and no one answered. Very frustrating. Tried calling the next closest location on Mission to check before driving there, and same thing — no answer. Extremely disappointing and...
Read moreI went to get a free drink I was sent. I ordered a DP zero with sf vanilla, butterscotch, and vanilla cream. I received a DP zero with sf vanilla, sf coconut l, and vanilla cream. I pulled back around after I noticed the mistake. Ask for the same drink no coconut. I wanted to do butterscotch with sf vanilla and vanilla cream. They did apologize a few times but I pulled off and noticed that my drink was not a caramel brown color like it should he with the vanilla cream. Not sure what they out in it but I did taste the butterscotch this time. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it. I probably won't be back...
Read moreI came for the first time today, a sweet gal greeted me at the drive thru menu to take my order. She was very kind, helpful, and patient while I decided what to try. We got a few drinks and some cookies. Cookies were a huge hit with my kids and the drink was well balanced and fairly priced I felt compared to some other places. By the time I got to the window my drinks were made and being handed to me. It was a...
