Tanner's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Overland Park

Been here before no issues, but on Friday 3/30, they seriously need to get it together. We arrived at 1130 pm and mentioned we wanted drinks and food. Waiter brought menus over and asked for our drink order. The first drink was a Stoli Raspberry and soda. He stated "Wow this is complicated, I better write it down". He also asked if that was a vodka? No big deal, but we had to laugh at that one. The second order was a beer off their beer list and the the third order was a drink off their menu "Patron and ginger beer". The waiter came over once and stated they did not have Stoli Raspberry, so she asked for a Red Bull Vodka and he went back. Then he came back and proceeded to tell us they did not have the beer on list, ok so strike 2 he asked for a Miller Light. He almost came back a third time to tell us there was no Patron and I could see the bartender lift the bottle like there was nothing in there. Ugh. I do not understand how a bar like this is not fully stocked. I worked at a sports bar for many years when I was younger and usually there was stock in the back. We finally received our drinks after a significant amount of time, and proceeded to place our food orders which took some time. After that , the waiter came back and tell us the kitchen was closed and we missed it by 3 minutes. The only reason we missed the kitchen closing was because he was screwing around due to incompetence. Needless to say we packed it up and moved out. The only reason we gave him a tip was out of pity because he clearly had no clue how to wait tables. I understand it is later in the night, but still the service should...

1st time at this establishment. I was with a group of all different ages so we were looking for somewhere we could sit and chat while eating Atmosphere was great! Initially when we walked in employees were great. After we sat down that's when it slowly started going down hill. Our server was very impatient and rolled her eyes several times while at or walking away from our table. They were not packed or I may have let some of it slide. We had 3 of our 8 meals and server came over to our table and said "anything else I can get you guys?" I replied with "the remaining dishes and some ketchup please." Some of our food was over cooked or hard(old), some was not as stated on the menu. Cook in kitchen was seen preparing food with no gloves on and eating while working. Server did not properly charge for items on ticket. Manager said he addressed the cook issue and talked with the server about her attitude. Manager also fixed our ticket...

Normally I'd love to give credit for dealing with an exceptionally large party, but when our department came on lunch during professional development, our department leader specifically got head count a day in advance in order to let them know. Nonetheless, those of us who showed up en masse faced fascinatingly long wait for drink delivery, food order, and our actual food. I ordered the fish tacos and after ALL the other food was delivered from that group, I had to still ask about my food. It was brought out a few minutes later; the tortillas were so soggy they were falling through on the bottom, which technically complimented the fish, which had dried and cooled to where even the inside wasn't warm. But by this point we were two hours into our planned 90 minute lunch, and eating something awful was better than eating nothing.
