My first experience here was wonderful! I had gotten a recommendation for this place from a friend of a friend, but I had completely forgotten what it was about this place that they liked so much. So I went in blind, hoping I could find something that stood out from the menu as extraordinary. It turned out I had nothing to fear. For one thing, the menu is straightforward. And the worker gave us a helpful overview of their offerings, including their most popular dishes. But more than that, everything looked incredible! The dishes are all unique and artfully presented. What I ordered may have looked better in person than in the pictures. And Wow! it was delicious.

I split with my wife the "I Am Magnificent" (berry and cheesecake shaved ice cream) and the "I Am Simple" (honey toast with almonds and vanilla ice cream). These two types of desserts seem to be their signature creations, with multiple flavors and variations of each. They. Were. Incredible. The ice cream was vibrant with flavor and texture despite its perfect lightness. The toast was almost too rich with buttery sweetness -- almost. It was hot, chewy, with some crisp and syrup and ice cream and some toppings to blend in with the bread...absolutely fantastic. It did take a few minutes longer to prepare than our ice cream. And it was worth the wait.

Am I raving too much? Don't forget the easy, pastel vibe of the place. I enjoyed feeling some of the affirmation of the named dishes, in the manner of Cafe Gratitude. And all the staff were friendly and helpful. In fact, they went above and beyond; they brought out our honey toast with a candle in it and singing happy birthday, since we had told them offhand that it was my birthday when we ordered!

This location is not near where I live in town, but my wife is already planning to bring friends to experience...

I've been to this cafe a handful of times and love everything about it! This cafe features Thai shaved iced cream (correct me if I'm wrong) in flavors like Thai tea, green tea, coffee, strawberry, mixed berry, etc... but each menu item is given an "I Am... (insert adjective)..." name.

The shaved ice creams I've had here are not too sugary or overly sweet and it melts in your mouth pretty quickly (it's airy and light in texture). The toppings are complimentary to the main shaved ice cream flavors. Plus, everything is nicely presented when the dishes come out. I'd definitely recommend pairing one of the shaved ice creams with the honey toast!

The Thai iced tea is on my list for one of the best in the area. I just wish the Thai iced teas were a little bigger/served with less ice because I sipped through it way too fast!

The staff members were very kind and helped me walk through the menu when it was my first time. At times, I've seen the manager check on tables to make sure everyone's orders are okay.

I'd definitely like to see taro or honeydew added to the menu in the future. I can't wait to see...
