Ordered and paid for on the app. I got there at the pick-up time and was handed a bag that supposedly contained my order. I told the clerk at the register that this was not my order, and the label on the bag was not my name. He asked me for my name as he looked at his register. He again asked my name, so this time I gave him my name and also spelled it for him. He again looked at his register and, after several moments, asked for my name again. He finally found my order on a tape that was beside the register. This tape was at least 8 ft. long with orders that had yet to be filled. He asked me if the tape he was showing me was my order. I said yes, it was my name, items ordered, and was paid for on the app. He then read the order out loud. A person at the prep area said we don't make one of the sandwiches I'd ordered. I replied that it was on their app, and that's why I ordered it. He asked if I wanted another sandwich instead, so I told him I would take a sandwich that was $1.50 less. I then said I would like to receive a refund for the $1.50. He disappeared into the prep area. 8 minutes returned with my order. I checked it and reminded him of my refund. He said the manager was the only one who could give refunds. After waiting for 6 minutes, I asked where the manager was from another clerk. She said she'll be with you in a minute. 8 1/2 minutes later, a manager came out and asked me what I needed? I explained I had purchased a sandwich, which I was told they no longer make and want the $1.50 refund difference between what I paid for and what I received. She replied, "You have to get your refund from the app." I now have to call their corporate offices to get my refund. I will never order on the Popeye's app or visit the Overland Missouri...
Read moreI wish I could give this place negative stars. I had a good experience about a year and a 1/2 ago here and after then I've been there 3 times and I do not like to give it negative reviews because a lot of people do not give positive reviews. with that said, I thought this through and the past 3 times I have tried. This place have been absolutely horrible. I do not know who hires the employees here and maybe the problem stems from the actual manager. I do not know. . regardless, I was spoken to like. I was a third-rate. I tried to order something again and after hearing them. Tell me to wait. They decided to tell me when I chimed in 5 minutes later that "I told you" to peruse the menu. It was extremely rude if anyone would have heard it. first of all, I'm not a child and I am not in there school. It would be different if this was the first time. But me and my family have Uber 4 times that I know of in the past year drove away because of this place and the way they treat and talk to people. this place is horrible and need. Strip down from top to bottom. is an absolute embarrassment to the popeye's franchise. Although I could try to be recouped from The Times I have spent at this establishment. I will not. it's not worth my breath. Or my time. I absolutely adore the recipe of popeye's restaurant and I eat it and over 5 states. Because of my work. This is absolutely the worst hands down. If I were corporate I would come in there and fire. Everybody and I certainly would in my own business. If they talked and treated people the way they do. I will never set forth in that place again and I will absolutely talk bad and tell everybody not to go to this location but to go and drive 10 miles if they have to to...
Read moreDon't bother ordering ahead online. Was told by an employee, who approached our vehicle and tapped on the glass, that the dining room was closed a whole hour before it was stated to be on google. Had to wait in the drive-through to pick up my order, while waiting in line I witnessed the same employee that approached my vehicle was now leaning out the drive-through window and arguing with a customer two cars ahead. This continued for at least five minutes. When I was finally at the window I wasn't acknowledged by anyone for another few minutes, the employee manning the drive-through was visibly confused, probably new, and floundering for help from the other employees who were too busy trying to pre-close their store. When I finally got my order I was missing my biscuits, and large red beans and rice. I made sure to check my order before pulling away, luckily, so I told the employee who handed me my order. They told me they were out of red beans and rice and offered to substitute it for mashed potatoes or fries. They finally handed me the rest of my order, and as I pulled off, a whole 45 minutes after placing my order, I heard them all start to argue amongst one-another again.
My chicken tenders were old, dry, and stale. They were also really small.
This might just be one of the most violently hateful workplaces I've encountered. Still tastes...
