Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Oviedo

I'm giving my visit a 1 star for several reasons. #1, I'm trying to branch my family to visit places that interest me. Tonight, although it wasn't for the whole family my daughter wanted to try CSC. We walked in, ordered a scoop of egg salad and scoop of chicken salad with a drink. The total was 10.68. She didn't care for the egg salad because she said it was gritty. I thought well, she doesn't like the texture because its a little more firm than what I make, no big deal, glad she tried it. I figured I would just have a couple of bites instead of let it go to waste. Well, there was egg shell in it making it appear gritty. I told her, hey it's got shell in it, I'm sure they will give you another scoop of something what is it that you would like to try? Before I even finished the lady who took my order walked by and I showed her the shell. I told her about my conversation with my daughter and she said, I hope it's better next time and walked away. Huh? She made mention to fill out the survey at the bottom of my receipt after I had paid so I walked up to get her name. Her name was SARA. She was an odd bird. Didn't care to address the issue at all or replace the egg salad. Thanks for the first and last impression on my daughter. I'm only writing this review because people worked hard for their money. Many new places are popping up in Oviedo and you were one that I was glad re opened right here! I'm potentially a family of 6 so that's an easy 60.00. This store doesn’t even deserve a star. I placed a catering order 2 weeks before our baby shower. My husband goes to pick up our order 2 hours before our baby shower and the girl checking him out and going over everything in the bags noticed we were missing a sandwich platter. She got the manager and he told my husband he will refund it. They have no more croissants to make the platter. One would think you would make sure you had inventory to complete an order that you took 2 weeks prior. I told the manager that this is unacceptable make the platter on another type of bread. He said it will be awhile. He didn’t have a care in the world. I wished I took the refund because the croissants they made looked horrible with a thin layer of chicken salad and no one touched that platter at all. In my initial order it states if I cancel 24 hours before pickup I will be charged 50% of the order on my receipt. Why doesn’t the store have a penalty for failing to provide me with the order I placed? I love chicken salad chick but relying on this store for 💯 of your catering needs for a big day FAILED 2 hours before the party. They should have called the customer the night before so they could have made arrangements with another local restaurant to cater the event. Not only did I give you a bad review but I let everyone in Oviedo know what type of manager you are and how bad you treat customers for absolutely no reason which is exactly why people quit their jobs at Chicken salad Chick to begin with because of managers like you. And I let everyone know, you can't treat people that way. And get away with it, the once every two years I come in you'll never remember me anyways. Just like you won't be there in 2 years. Your assistant manager should be manager, you don't want to deal with simple things at least he understood I wasn't the issue.

Why don't you just say the real issue is you just did not want to refund me my $22.00 because you're lazy and grumpy. I was $5 short of my order with cash and decided I'll just pay with my debit card. But that was too much of a hassle for you, so you straight up told me to get something else instead of what I wanted so you wouldn't have to fix the money problem that again wasn't my issue to begin with, therefore picking an unnecessary fight where you yelled at me multiple times for no reason!

BTW, I did not wear any type of clothing specifically in preparation of thinking I was stopping to get food today. Nor did I ask for any favors. I know you would like to think that but it was just coincidence, I have a lot of old work t-shirts, stop being...
