Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Owasso

We first tried DB in Colorado years ago, and it was just okay. My Son wanted to stop at the Owasso one yesterday and I got a hot Americano and my Son got a seasonal cold drink. We left and mine was so bad/bitter, made w/ such cheap grade of beans that I couldn't even drink it. So, I went back and tried to have a conversation about what I was tasting and that it should be robust and smooth, the girl (short and wearing glasses) and a guy standing there at the walk up window, and he understood what the problem was, and knew how to handle it by offering Mr another drink, AFTER the rude girl told me the beans might be old 🤔and that Dutch Bros doesn't even use an espresso bean for an Americano, that they use the standard coffee beans. 😲 So, she proceeds to take off and makes me another one and she told me I wasn't liking it because it didn't have enough sugar in it. 🤔 And I tried to stop her and listen to me, but she wouldn't. I did taste the new one and I informed her that I drink Americanos and I know how much sweetener (one pump of liquid cane sugar, if any) 'if any', I always get and Americano when I go to a coffee shop, ( I helped open a very successful coffee shop in this town years ago), that I don't need my drink to be loaded w/ sweetener, an Americano is the easiest drink on the whole menu...anywhere! Those that drink Americanos don't prefer sugary drinks, So I said it tasted the same (awful/low grade) so the guy was more than happy to whip up a latte and I took him up on it, I was ready to leave. So I stood out in front of the walk up window waiting on the nice guy fixing me another drink, and not once did the girl apologize for her attitude, and I kept my cool and stood there listening to the deafening song/rap about how black men (the song refered to them as a certain word), and how they 'f' girls. DISGUSTING! As I was walking to my car the girl went over and shut/slammed the window with such an angry look on her face.

And I don't get it...do the people that go to Dutch Bros get the extremely sugared drinks with energy additives in them, and dont know a good product when they drink one, because their product is not...

Started out strong when they opened but has been consistently bad in the past several months. A latte is the pepperoni pizza of coffee places; if you can’t do that well, don’t try the harder things. The girls that have been working the mornings I go seem to be more into vibing to their music than their job. It’s off-putting and not bringing anything to my coffee order. Since you love asking for tips, Here are some more:

1. there are too many local options to be this bad at coffee
2. a latte has foam. Yours doesn’t.
3. a flavored coffee has flavor. Yours didn’t.
4. don’t start your tip bidding at 20%. That’s for A+ service, not C-
5. the coffee is the main event, not your dance party.

Overall the coffee was terrible…what I got was warm milk with a splash of coffee, no foam. Service was meh. Do...

I really hate writing this review, but if I were a manager or owner, I’d want to know. The Rebel I ordered was great, and the staff was very friendly, even after I mentioned my concern. They were playing loud music, which I don’t mind, but the issue was that it wasn’t just loud—it was coming through the outside speakers for everyone to hear. The lyrics were extremely vulgar, and I honestly don’t even want to repeat them. It was inappropriate, full of explicit language, and uncomfortable. I almost drove off right then and there, and I’m glad my kids weren’t with me. I really hope this kind of content is not acceptable...
