This McDonalds just keeps getting worse. On a good day they are okay with service time. There have been so many times we have gone through the drive-thru and they tell us to hold a moment, then you have to say something to even get them back to take your order. This has occurred even when they were not busy. This last time I waited 10+ minutes at the speaker, and 10 minutes in the line before that. I saw quite a few people leave the line, one even after placing an order. I wish I could say it is because they are busy but this isn’t an issue just when they are busy. Then there is the issue of having you pull into a lane to wait after you have paid, we have even made it through there before and had at least 5 other cars leave with food that were behind us in the line. We left after not being answered. I try to take into consideration that it’s just because they are busy, when they are but the fact it is happening even when they are not, I can’t even believe the reasons I come up with in my head as to what the problem could be. The new one on 86th has been great every time we go. So that will be our new place from now on. Waiting 30 minutes in a drive through seems a little much when the second lane is still moving and most of that was at the speaker waiting for someone to take our order. I really hate to give a bad review on something that I would normally tell myself to just have more patience, but this has just gotten...
Read moreMy most recent experience with this McDonald’s customer service was horrible. I had a large, complicated order so instead of going through the drive thru, I went inside to use the kiosks. Once paid for and told that I was to-go, the kiosk refused to give me a receipt. When I told the front counter, they told me they had no way of getting my receipt since it was on one of the kiosks. They tell me My to-go number so I know when my food is ready. When my food is ready, I don’t have any of the drinks. I inquired about it and they told me I need to make them myself. One of the employees was kind enough to offer me a drink carrier since I ordered 5 drinks and I was by myself. I accepted but after a few moments she came back and told me they didn’t have any carriers. When I asked her what I should do about taking 5 drinks and my two bags of food to my car, she responded only with an “I’m sorry”. So after 4 or so trips back and forth from my car to the store, I finally have my food and drinks. Each time I came back in, I checked to see if any of the workers were busy. At least one of them was standing around, telling a story, and not working. Her name was Liz or Elizabeth or something, small with blond hair. Not once did she, or another employee, offer to help me get my items to my car even though there was almost no one in the drive thru or eat in area. Once home with my food, the fries were stale. This was horrible...
Read moreSo, drive thru is a little a busy so I run in to get my daughter a cheeseburger happy meal while her and my wife hang out in the car. At about 13 minutes(and yes, I started the timer,) my wife and daughter enter the store. It took 19 minutes plus to get a Happy Meal, people who order after me, got their food before me. Frustrating enough, but there's more. The blue shirt manager, did show a great of customer service when they forgot a frapp in the drive thru. I was impressed how he handled it, however, he lost impression for me when he treated a DoorDasher like crap when she tried to ask about the order when he turns to her and rudely says "we're working on it, we're working on it!" I about tore into him. He and his teams' inability to get orders out in a timely manner is costing the woman $. This woman was doing a service by picking up food for a McDonald's customer. He showed me right there that his leadership and management skills were probably the biggest reason this store was so far behind. Anyone can treat a customer great, but it takes legit leadership to treat someone who is serving your store and your customers well. No use of complaining because this is a Nichols Management group McDonald's they just make excuses. I've dealt with them before. They have so many stores and know that they will get volume based on the brand alone and don't seem to...
