I called the store before heading over to make sure they had my favorite donut. Sometimes they sell out fast. a lady that I didn’t know at the time answer the phone and I was explaining to her the donut she’s goes no and hung the phone up on me or something told me to get up and go anyway so once I get to the store, I see a whole tray full of the cinnamon roll donuts, so I asked the ladies it was three of them standing there I was like which one just answered the phone when I called to describe the donut, the lady cut me off and said no and hung the phone up on me, but there’s a tray full of the lady said that was me so I asked what was her name the name given was Rachel . She said I thought you were talking about pecan there flat and I explained you didn’t give me time to Describe the donut, you said no one hung up .She had a very bad attitude, not friendly at all customer service over the phone and inside the store was terrible with her. I’ asked could I leave my phone number so the owner could give me a call when the next time he think he might be in the store or could he just call me And she replied he’s almost never in the store, so hopefully the owner will see this message to my experience with Rachel and Rachel should keep in mind that she is the face behind someone else’s brand so you should always keep a smile be friendly and be mindful of the things you say, and do and public Because you never know who I am, that came inside. I could be a food critic. Just never know. Other ladies are a pleasure to see but Miss Rachael not so...
Read moreI've been going in and making a big order once a week for several months. We just moved back here a couple years ago and I remembered I used to like them. I was there last week and the lady who waited on me seemed super distracted. I had to repeat my order several times. When I got home I realized she had forgotten to put two jelly donuts in my bags. (Sidenote: they won't give me a box even when I order a dozen and everything gets mashed together). It had been busy, so I didn't bother calling and certainly wasn't going to drive all the way back for them. It wasn't a big deal. So I went back this morning and casually mentioned it when I came in, since I was the only person there. The same frazzled lady got really snappy and I had to ask if she was mad at me. Like, who needs attitude first thing? Not me! I wasn't MAD about the jelly donuts. Whatever. Someone else rang me up and I asked if she charged me for them this time, and the bitchy one said, "Yes, because I waited on you last week and you didn't call or come in about it." Okay, cool. You won't make it right? I've spent hundreds of dollars there and you're assuming I'm trying to rip you off? Have it your way! There are TONS of other bakeries. But for fun, let's do the math, since I'll never spend another dime there: Minimum $25 a week is $100 a month. $1200 a year. We don't plan on moving, so let's say 30 years. That's $36,000 they threw away over the cost of TWO donuts that she knew I paid...
Read moreI've been a dedicated Koehler's customer for YEARS now. Donuts, cookies, cakes, cupcakes, pastries... we've always made Koehler's our go-to for all of our sweet needs. Additionally, my employer has utilized Koehler's for our employee birthdays, holiday events, parties, etc. Over the past 10+ years I've never had a bad experience until Thursday, January 16, 2020 when I purchased cupcakes for an employee birthday. The unfortunate thing is that this one bad experience was so horrible that I will NEVER be back to Koehler's! I will drive across town to Rolling Pin for all of my family's sweet needs, and all of our workplace festivities. Koehler's lost several customers due to this incident and I will never recommend this Bakery again. The customer service at Koehler's is terrible, and I've never had a drier, more disgusting cupcake in my life. The prepackaged garbage from the grocery store was...
